Princess Amethyst variant question...

It wasnt one I had seen before so I wondered how many of them were around...


The Princess Sparkle/Amethyst variant that was on ebay last week - the one with what looked like a glow in the dark mane....is she a very difficult to find Princess variant? [I know none of them are common but on a 1 = very difficult to 10 = impossible scale!!! lol]


I know I shouldnt even stray into Princess variant territory for fear it would become addictive but I love Princess Sparkle so there is a little temptation but I dont want to set my poor little heart on the impossible and I really loved this version...

I have only ever seen three of her. (I did not see this recent auction. Was it on ebay uk?)
Not even sure if those three were unique ones, one of them may have been a collector sellling hers. But then again I'm not really actively looking, the three I have seen are ones I just happened to notice anyway.

edit - seeing the picture I realize this one is different, the ones I have seen before were all in the same pose as princess sapphire.

I am a terrible ebayer...I had been watching her for 3 days and then forgot to bid...sigh....I do this all the time...I dont think she sold so I am hoping she ll be relisted...

I wondered why she hadnt been purchased if I am honest and whether she was just a common variant although I hadnt seen her before or if she simply had been overlooked and therefore if she is relisted if I should be prepared for a scary bidding battle...

If her mane glows in the Dark, we have never seen a sparkle / amethyst variant like her before
and I would say $300.00 up depending on who wants to ad a OOAK to their collection, if she has glow in the dark hair.
The mane really does not look like just faded blue but does look like the Royal blue glow in the dark hair.
 hathorcat do you have a link to the Auction I would love to see the seller description and if it's ended you can do that here.

that is a new variant!
there is a princess woosie with a GITD mane but there has not been a princess amethyst with a GITD mane

Thanks SFlame, well hopefully the seller will relist her then.  Some times they do end auctions for other reasons beside getting an "Offer they can not Refuse"

Ahhh...maybe thats why I missed the end....I did wonder...it must have ended sooner than I thought...hence why it finished up in the ended section of my watch list

It does look like the seller should know ponies as their avi is a custom by the looks of it

Or maybe it was taken down as it was listed so incorrectly? We can always hope!


I am kind of impressed with myself that I recognised her as being one I hadnt seen before lol...I guess the princess variant information has been learned by too much browsing in the nirvana gallery
