Title: Hip Hip Holly Hooray!
Post by: BlackCurtains on February 25, 2012, 06:36:19 PM: When I started adding G2s to my collection, this particular one had a high price tag. I don't know what her overall average was/is, but I had seen her fetch at least $50 (and one priced at $100!). I would never allow myself to spend that, so she was just a dream.

Then, something happened.

There was a Hip Holly that sold on eBay a while back for something like $13 and I couldn't believe it. I thought it HAD to be a fluke.

Not a fluke :)

This beautiful, unique, and very orangey girl cost me roughly $16. I still can't believe it :lol:

She has a rusty washer and some rust flakes in her back legs, but otherwise she's gorgeous. But that price! I don't know why she plummeted like she did, but she's proof that even the most seemingly out of reach ponies might be on your shelf one day :cheer:
