Yes, he(or she?) have "made in china" under her hoof.
Yeah, her name could be Banana Pie :D Or Bananarama ;p
She looks like original, me and Strzyga(another fan, friend of mine, she's on this forum) thougt that she could be african :D But she's a little bit smaller than baby ponies in this pose.

Its a fakie- i got one with lemons and know there are oranges and other fruity as well :)
Sold in sets with other fakies :)
