I contacted the UK PR people for Basic Fun who said the Unicorn / Pegasus set would be coming to the UK "later this year."
Honestly the comb could have just fallen into th box or got swept up when they were packing up the display. Maybe they are working to flutters and this was a early mock up that happened to be near the ponies that they use for shows
Zooming in on the comb / pick, these are my opinions on it:3. But it's not an ACTUAL flutter pony pick, as the center of the flowers aren't painted. The flower pick was used for a lot of ponies other than the flutters, with no paint. It could be they are using this flower pick to remold the accessory (if they want to make the flutters or another set). Or it could be a random G1 accessory they had lying around. Or it could be they're thinking of doing another pony that came with a flower pick.
It's also possible the comb came in a lot . . . I assume they got Trickles, Pinwheel etc off eBay. (I mean the "original" ones, so they could study them to create the new ponies.)But I would love it if they did recreate the flutters, they're some of my favorites.
