There's quite a few common ponies I don't have yet! While my collection is bigger than I tend to think (lol), it's still more on the small side. But a common one it took me a surprising amount of time to get is Sundance. I actually got Megan first, lol.

I like that the Basic Fun ponies are brighter/darker than the original ones as it makes it easier to tell them apart from their G1 counterparts.

Agreed, should be helpful when shopping secondary market (i.e. easier to tell if an ebay seller is trying to pass off a repro as an original)

Last month I got Megan for a really good price... she's not in perfect shape, but she's pretty decent. I don't have much money to spend on fun things these days so I had to wait until a couple of days ago to finally snag a nice Sundance to go with her. I got an amazon fire tablet for my birthday last month and lately I've been on it (too much) playing The Sims Freeplay, lol. It's the only Sims game I can access since Origin screwed up on me and I can't play the proper ones.

August Birthflower. I'm actually happy to have her (that's my birth month so she was the only one I wanted) but I think I overpaid, because she was my birthday present to myself last year. One of her symbols had more rubs than I would have liked... I probably should have held out for a price a tad lower.

I really wanna see these in person... they look so cute! I've been really excited about the older Polly Pocket recently and maybe getting one or two of these sets would distract me from wanting to spend even more money on that, lol.
The new Polly Pockets are cute but if you want something closer to the originals the Shopkins Lil Secrets are where it's at.
I definitely want to grab one or two of those. They're so cute!
