Aw, doesn't look like 4PM after all. I'll keep checking back at the half hour marks, but I have a feeling the exclusives won't be up until later this week.

Hmm, I wonder if we should all do an email or text chain? So we can alert each other if we see her since some of us will likely be asleep or at work/school. The email chain would only work if you guys got email alerts on your phone, I guess!

I heard from a reliable source that the UK pony con is not getting an exclusive this year because Hasbro insisted that they order an absolutely insane number of them (10,000) or else they weren't sending any).  If I am wrong, someone please correct me, but that's my current understanding.

Really? But if they only had 1000 for SDCC isn't that a bit harsh? Or did I miss a bit?

That was my reaction too!  10k, good heavens!  Unless the person mistyped and meant 1k?  This is all secondhand on my end, but the poster was a very reliable old time community member.

Oh, and I'm glad you guys liked the song! 

Even if was 1k, then UKPonycon should seriously consider ordering them. That would be quite a few pennies raised for charity!

I'm giving it until 5pm EST. I'm hoping that they wouldn't put it up outside of business hours. I really can't wait any longer because I'm super tired and need to get some sleep.

I'm a little worried that the prices won't go down after she sells on HTS.  On one hand there will be more of them out there to help with the demand, but at the same time once she's sold from HTS there will be no other way to possibly get her then ebay or trading sooo.. I could see her going even higher.

The group of people that bought fair exclusives in the past is a pretty small percentage of the people who are pony fans now.  And considering any new fans of the show in the future will probably want a DD/DH (and have no way to get her but ebay).   So... I'm pretty worried it won't follow the same formula past exclusives have.

I've seen bronies at conventions shell out TONS of money for pony plushies, so I don't see them minding paying a ton for an official toy of her.


All that aside I really wish they'd just post her up already. >w<  Even if I don't get her atleast I'll know I can quit refreshing and watching.

When I asked Hasbro about her selling online after SDCC, they said they put up "whatever is left over from Comic Con" and they sold out at comic con. Now unless they left some boxes at home base, I have a feeling that "Gray Pegasus" will not be for sale online. :< Which is disappointed because I missed her at the MLP Fair.

They say that every year, that they will put up what's left. People freak out and flock to eBay, and then they put a bunch on the site a few days after SDCC. Every year they last longer and longer. Hasbro isn't dumb they know what they're doing. They know everyone is waiting.

Yes they do, but there has never been such a demand for said exclusive pony like there is now.

Just a thought: Is she going to be the UK's ponycon exclusive as well? If so, could any of our UK friends help us out in getting her?

It was mentioned a little earlier in the thread that they had to order 10 000 or something like that? I wish they were able to, it'd be nice if there were 10 000 more of the pony for people to own.
