my understanding at the fair was the only promise was *IF there were any left after SDCC*, they would be listed on Hasbro Toy Shop.

They promised on their Facebook page though...

Man, I hate to say it, but I've been thinking about it... Hasbro doesn't have the best communication within their staff. Just because the folks who manage the Facebook said it doesn't mean that the people working SDCC knew about it, and might have sold all their stock without realizing that they should have been saving some for the site. Of course, I could be totally wrong, and I really hope that's not the case, but we've all run into issues with Hasbro's poor communication before, I think. I'll never forget how many times Hasbro flip-flopped on whether or not the US and UK would be receiving blind bags.

Alas, you have a point Owlsy, re communication.

It doesn't help that HTS is actually a separate entity from Hasbro proper, the latter probably being the one in charge of the Facebook page.

Hello Sarah,

Thank you for your email as well as your interest in our products. We do plan to have the 2012 SDCC exclusives available for sale after the convention, which ran from 7/11-7/15. Unfortunately we cannot give you a precise day or time that the items will be scheduled to go live as there are several factors that come into play – leftover stock needs to be inventoried at the close of the convention, loaded onto trailers and shipped to our warehouse where it needs to be received, recounted and examined for damages and put into stock.  At that point it will be available for sale. We ask that you check back on the site frequently following the close of the convention for the best opportunity to purchase. We do apologize, but due to the high demand and limited quantities of these items Hasbro does not offer any presales or item reservations. We apologize, but until the items are listed on our site we will not know the household limits.

Well remember guys, they put ALL their exclusives up at the same time. So even if say there were only X number of Pony, there are still all their other SDCC exclusives to inventory as well before it would go live. They seemed to have a few more exclusives this year than other years so it very well could be Wednesday.

None of the other SDCC stuff is up yet either. Until those are, I know that the pony exclusive hasn't been released either.

You know what would be awful?  If, after an anxious week of website camping, we see an announcement this weekend on HTS.com that there was no remaining stock and she is unavailable!
