The fashion style one might be the G4 equivalent of Rapunzel... but now that Hasbro is POSITIVE that they have struck gold with this character, they're going to market the living bejeepers out of her.

I agree with this.  I think they will create merchandise with her on it.  I don't know if they would make a pony for sale at all toy stores but they will be producing something somewhere.  Maybe it will be in the hard plastic hair form.

here i am ont he thread.. but  dont throw fakies at me...i'm askign out of genral curiosuaity. what is the big deal with her? i mean why do you guys call her Ditzy Doo or Ditzy Doo hooves?  or ditzy do or whatever?

i dont really watch FIM i only watched a couple of the episodes..  (the zecora ones)  and  the tribble (parasprites one) so i'm curious..

Well her fan name is Pony. In an episode of FiM, they mentioned a "feather brained Pegasus" named Ditzy Doo, so the animators considered that as her name. In the episode "The Last Round Up", Rainbow Dash called her " Pony" and parents freaked out, so they changed it. So neither name is canon, but most bronies call her Pony. Some people find Pony offensive and call her Ditzy Doo. I personally prefer a combination of both, DerpyDoo.

She was a background pony that drew attention for her crossed eyes. There is a meme on some forums that involves showing a person with crossed eyes, and the word 'derp' so her fan name was Pony Hooves.  In the episode The Last Roundup, Rainbow Dash calls her by said fan name, thus making it canon. People flipped out, and in later showings of the episode, it was removed and she's not called anything. If you look on knowyourmeme for "derp" you'll get some background on the word and it's rather innocent beginnings.  It doesn't mean what a lot of people take it to mean, unfortunately, because a lot of people do see it that way, it's considered offensive on these boards.

Hasbrotoyshop is being goofy for me too. 

So I checked my times that I was on the site, 12:00-12:03 I was constantly refreshing, then comes the person in asking me about lunch and I checked at 12:19 in which she was already sold out! smack head on computer!

As im sitting here constantly checking hasbro site I start having visions of next time I groom my Cavalier King Charles (Chloe) turing her into a fluffy living version of Pony

but what do you mean canon? like canon fodder?  and what exaclty is the defntion for Brony? i've  heard it  been described as  anyone who lieks the new fim and then  as male people who likes  mlp.  *hides*  i'm  not sure about all this new termongly.

So I got a response back from my email message and it's pretty obvious that it's a copy and paste statement and that they actually didn't read the entire contents of my message.   Crummy day is crummy.

I'm writing today just to express my absolute disappointment in glitches or errors in the website that kept several people from being able to attempt to by con exclusives before they sold out.

Like many people I had been checking the site (and other sites that were watching the Hasbro Toy shop for updates) for the past two days, and I just happened to be lucky enough to refresh just as she was put up.  I proceeded to try and buy her.  I clicked 'proceed to checkout' atleast 15 times, but my subtotal remained at $0 and it just kept taking me to the same page.  I thought perhaps it was a mistake so I deleted the item and added it again.  Once again I clicked many times only to have nothing happen.  Finally I thought perhaps the problem had to do with Paypal being my payment type, so I went into my account information and added a credit card in and tried again.  Again nothing would happen, always a subtotal of $0 even as people around me are claiming to have gotten not just one of her but two and three.

Finally after she was totally sold out a few people figured out that the problem had to do with the fact that we were already logged into our Hasbro Toy Store accounts, and that logging off and relogging in fixed the $0 glitch.  But of course this was long after she was already sold out.

 I've been a customer of Hasbro and My Little Pony for years.  I've bought from the website many times (including one big order of 10-15 of the blank ponies) just as a for instance.  So I'm absolutely furious that the reason I was unable to get the Comic con pony is 'because' I am a previous customer and was already signed into the site.  Repeat customers should have the same, if not a better chance at things in my opinion, not be penalized.

I have also seen many people stating that they ordered more then 1 pony despite the one per household limit, which I'm sure helped a lot in how quickly she sold out.  This is entirely unfair and, even if I don't manage to get one myself, I really hope as a company that you hold to your word and make sure it stays 1 per household, and cancel out those duplicate orders.

I'm sorry if any of the message was harsh, I'm just really upset at the whole exclusive situation and drama considering how quickly she sold out (at the fair, at SDCC, and now on the website).  If I had missed her because I wasn't around it wouldn't have been that big of a deal, but to miss her because of a website glitch is heartbreaking.

Canon in this context means that it's generally accepted as the real name.  A Brony is a non-traditional fan of My Little Pony, generally male fans of Friendship is Magic, and the females are referred to as Pegasisters in that fandom.

I got the same exact response Iris.  You would think a company of Hasbro's size would of been able to put in place a block on accounts once one of each the comic con items has been bought from it, same with CC#'s and addresses.  Other sites that have had exclusives of things have done this before.

"Ditzy Doo hooves" is the result of the forum word filter changing " Pony hooves"

"Canon" (not "cannon") means something is accepted officially (originally by the Catholic church - when they "canonize" a saint or whatever means the church officially accepts it into the teachings). The term is used for any mythos or story universe to mean that the creators/controllers of that story universe accept that as part of the universe. Things that aren't canon can be said to be part of the "fanon" instead (meaning it is accepted by at least some fans). See also headcanons (things you personally accept in your version of the story in your own head).

(Canon the company that makes cameras/lenses presumably wants to present 'the real image of the world' in their products I guess.)

"Brony" (from "Bro" + "pony") is the name for the (mostly-male) fans of MLP FiM. "Pegasister" is a possible female version of the term, but many just use "Brony" as non-gender-specific (since "pegasister" is so silly sounding and a later invention).

Good News Everyone!! (well for you guys, not for my sisters though)
As you may have heard, I ordered 3 separate Ditzy Doos to the same address (one for me, the others for my sisters). Two of them were cancelled while the other one says "not shipped". Hasbro must be canceling multiple orders now, which means those who did not get one the first time have another chance to get her!!! I am just glad they did not completely cancel all of my orders! 

Oh, that's a relief. I've been worried sick about my own order as well ever since I found out about the limit. So, so glad I made them separate orders.

I ordered a second one as a spur-of-the-moment sort of thing. Ordering the first one was so painless, I thought, why not? I could have two! One to open and an extra to keep MIB. But after seeing so many people having problems and missing out, I felt so freaking lousy about it (like I was a big fat pony hog) that I had made up my mind to sell my extra on the arena if I got her. I do apologize for being selfish... it's really not my nature.

I do wish everyone the best of luck when she goes back in stock. I hope you all get one!
