I was 6 when I picked her, I even remember where ^^ She has always been my most important pony ever since. I've upgraded her recently but she will of course still stay the queen of my herd.

Oh my gosh, me too! Except my first pony was Peachy, bought for me by my Great Aunt for my second Christmas. (I was two...born April 1982) Unfortunately, I sold my childhood herd when I went through a streak from 18 to 21 that I was "too old for toys". (INSANITY!) But when I started collecting again the summer G3 started, guess who my first was? PEACHY! And even though she's not the same one Nana got me, I still smile when I see her sitting on my shelf, and she's the surrogate grandmother to the pony who was always my avatar as a kid, Baby North Star.

Sadly I can't really remember because I got a huge lot of like 100 ponies back in the early 90's and the only two I remember of all of them was Posey and Sugarberry.  I had so many but those are the only two I remember.  I sold the entire lot like an idiot and I think I even had some rare ones and it would be just my luck that I might have even had a mimic and didn't know how special she was at the time.  Blaaaaa

I honestly do not remember. I had a ton of ponies as a kid, all but a few were purchased used. I do recall buying Baby Drummer on clearance though. I do have most of my original ponies, but I have sold some to lovely members here.
