@Wysteria, please stop making me want the Artistry ponies so much with such pretty pictures...my student budget can't bear it!

So hoping to see these at least at Ponycon. Maybe even afford one of them. They are so amazing and my Dabble and Scribbles would love a couple of sisters :'(

Scribbles doesn't have fading pink thought? Dabble has fading aqua in her mane, which often ends up whiteish - but Scribbles' pink is dark pink.

Both ponies can fade since the hair is white under the color. I have a scribbles who's hair is fresh and almost red its so dark while the one in the giveaway Im currently running is more pink like her forelock. However Scribbles doesn't seem to fade as drastically as Dabble.

As for price I'm sure color preference plays a big part and that Scribbles is prone to cancer and discoloration. Finding a mint one is quite the task!

It's such a shame these ponies were supposed to be part of an actual 6 piece set (you can see the HQG1C ponies in my avatar.) This discovery from a couple years ago may also play a part in more collectors seeking out the originals since HQ just released the other 4.

For those that own them, are HQ ponies squishy like old ponies, hard as a rock like twinkle eyes, or somewhat in between?

They are kind of inbetween. None are rock hard but they are squeezable. They are made the same way the old ponies were so they're very similar.  The plastic is very smooth to the touch and easily customizable;) I haven't broken a hairing tool on one yet;)

We're currently working on a thread/place to list all the ponies. Our facebook group has a google doc currently.  All the sales from this give away are going towards our exciting new molds!

I don't think we would use the pocket pony molds, I agree they are too clunky. The flutters would be pretty. Or the glow n show molds since we'll soon have 3 of them made.

For now, like Clipper said, we'll wait a bit and see what Basic Fun does. We had a whole campaign to bring them to life and they are very aware the community wants them:) With hasbro still using the art from the set that's where it gets a little tricky.

We are already planning to bring to life another set of unproduced ponies. Our Date Night set is from an unfinished concept by an original artist, I just can't remember which one.  Some of you may own the prints that were sold. We're really excited about this set as they will all glow in the dark:D

The artistry girls were actually concepts for pretty mane ponies that were never made. We found an artistb that used to work for hasbro who had drawn them as a full set of 6 instead of just Scribbles and Dabble so we decided to bring them to life:) We did give them 2 tone tails which might be a little thinner than a flutter but not much. We just thought the 2 tone jazzed them up a little more;)

oh wow, that's so cool, I had no idea!! I really love these girls

That's also part of the reason we called them Artistry Girls because the art was for a backcard that featured them outside at an art show/craft fair setting:)
