Precious Pocket matching woes

I'm looking at the remains of Lil Pockets tail, and my leftover Atomic Turquoise, and her tails much lighter. Has it just faded?

Edit: Just prised open the metal clasp and it's the same colour, so I don't think it's faded massively. Has anyone got a Lil Pocket and a hank of Daiquiri Ice they can compare? Mermaid I think will be too green

And again. Just compared to a swap pony after a flash of knowledge, and its water nixie. Which means that Bubblefish can't be water nixie as well as she looks darker. She could be atomic turquoise. Anyone?

More confused.

One site says that Lil Pocket and Sparkler (Mermaid)  match. Mine do not. Lil Pocket matches with Secret Pony(tm), which is Water Nixie.

SwapPony2 does not match with Water Nixie, as her mane/tail is too dark a blue. Despite being on the list under water nixie. The blue part of her mane is the right length, but her tail is not. Atomic Turq is close, but too green.

I don't have Li'l Pocket but I can tell you straight off the bat Daiquiri Ice is too light

Majesty uses Water Nixie and https://sites.google.com/site/mlphaircolorguide/home does note that the colors in their guild needs to be confirmed.

My closest guess based off of her photo is Water Nixie. Pony Hair, even still in clasp can dull or fade and in general make it hard to show true colors

Yes, it's supposed to be Water Nixie but yours is either faded or maybe the hair color batch was different.  I know I've had other ponies with that hair color be off colored sometimes.  I have FireFly, Sprinkles, Majesty, and others have this.  It's weird at first because you know it's a different color but it's not like the fading pink where you'd maybe see pink still in the clasp part.

Ok, got my hair. The waternixie match I bought is fine, but it certainly does not go to Bubblefish who is the priority pony and I was hoping to avoid a full rehair on.

Might be easier to see if somebody has a bait pony with a nice tail to sell that has the hair faded the same shade.  Might not be easy but maybe, just maybe it could be.  I'll check through my own ponies to see if there is any pony in there that might be faded too that is baitable.

If you wanted to try taking a picture of your Bubblefish's tail with the new waternixie hair hank with some good lighting.  Might be easier to compare color shades to others that way to see if we can find you a match to get you a donor.
