Is anyone planning on buying a Frozen doll and repainting? Like the Mattel ones?
I need so badly to take pictures, I got my coronation two pack Classic edition frozen girls nude on ebay so I found them some Barbie clothes, and they look simply stunning on them!
I would like their outfits from that set though eventually, if anyone wants to split when it restocks.
Anyone see these new Mattel classic dolls? They have a princess and a villain line. I want them so bad! I saw them at my Walmart. The boxes have the original movie poster and year on them. I wouldn't debox them but I may want doubles of Ariel and the Evil Queen. I like this Ariel better than the DS classic doll or the JCP doll and this Evil Queen is way better than the DS version. I need one to be with Raven Queen for her family group in my EAH collection. They also have Ursula, Cinderella and Snow White. I really hope they make an Aurora and Maleficient.

As far as Frozen stuff, I wish I would've bought the DS Elsa mug when they had it and possibly the classic doll. I didn't like it as much as I thought I would when I say it in RL.

Soooo I saw enchanted for the first time! I feel like I really missed out when it first came at. At first it felt like a generic mix of all Disney princess movies, but as I watched it wow I really like it! Ive been signing 'how does she know you love her' all night at work!

UGH! Total waste of time! So the mall opened like an hour early for the Disney event and well, theres a HUUUUUUUUUUGE line made up of thousands of people that went outside and wrapped around the building!!!!!! O_________o I talked to one of the employees and she told me there wasnt even any Elsa dolls! LMAO! I saw a dress and some plushies and that was about it. We tried JCPenny in hopes of Elsa dolls and a bunch of people had the same idea I did.... sooooo many people in the little Disney isle and parents letting their kids throw plushies around! So many people in the back of the line are going to be super dissappointed and there were sooooo many annoying kids screaming, crying, and throwing fit because they didnt get a free Mickey Mouse hat! x'D There was literally THOUSANDS of people in line! Insane. Ill try back in a month LOL!

I don't think it's lame at all SprinklesCupcake. I have Classic Elsa, Classic Ariel, Triton and Ursula. I also have the Limited Edition Little Mermaid set with Vanessa and a Classic Wedding Rapunzel with short hair.

You guys should see some of the posts on the Disney Store's Facebook page today. If it's true it's really sad that some adults are willing to push children down/out of the way for Frozen toys. I love Frozen but I wouldn't do something like that just to get a doll or toy. Did anyone see that kind of craziness go on at your local Disney Stores?Our store lined people up outside before opening, and that became the line to the register (all of the Frozen stuff was behind the counter except the PVC figure set and some odds and ends). The only dolls in stock were Classic Anna and Elsa, the three toddler dolls, and singing Anna. I was hoping for either a singing Elsa or the Classic Hans, but alas, they didn't get any this weekend.

Woah, what did I miss? Did a lot of stores restock or something? Poor children....thats pretty sick! My DS now has a LINE to get into the store every morning. My aunt-in-law works at the JC Penny down the hallway. Its crazy. Everyday its like that, weekdays its busy traffic but weekends its way worse. Every time I visit people are asking for Frozen dolls and they have yet to get some in. The DS in Garland, TX occasionally gets the twin pack in if anyone is after then-try that location instead of Frisco!

So I have a question for everyone who goes to the Disney Store on Saturdays for the Frozen dolls- is anyone else's store selling the dolls BEFORE the store even opens, say....8am!? Its the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, TX. I wonder how they can even do that. I stood in line for a while, about 9:30 and the store was CLOSED. There was a line with other parents there after the Classic and Animator dolls like I was. I called DS a few days ago and they said they had them in stock- but when they opened up the store at 10am (wtf is up with the key that turns the light on LOL) they said, "All we have left from this morning is 2 Kristoff Animator dolls, Olaf plush, and Sven plush." A few people asked what they meant by that, "all we have left from earlier this morning at eight" and a CM told a mom who was standing in front of me in line that they sold the Classic dolls earlier this morning. The mother replied, " you dont have any dolls.....but you JUST OPENED! How did you sell them at 8o'clock if you JUST opened!?" The CM just shook her head and ignored the mom as the mom was trying to get her attention. Something is going on at that store, eaither employees are buying them or they are selling them early in the store then closing the store and reopening the store back up at 10am. I was the third person in line, something definitly fishy!!

I love the Signature Collection dolls <3 I found Cinderella at a TRU Express (after an unsuccessful Disney Store Saturday), and she's lovely! The first doll I plan on keeping in the box, actually, because the packaging and everything is so nice. Plus, for whatever reason, Disney has a hard time getting some of the princesses' faces right, and Cindy is one of them.
I actually like the faces of some of these Mattel girls better than the Sig dolls from the Disney Store.
I went to the Disney Store in New Orleans this weekend and was there when the store opened....nothing. It's crazy. I think I'm going to just stop looking for anything Frozen until Christmas, lol! I did get a new Tinkerbell doll off eBay though, so yay, haha!I am desperately searching for a baby sven plush for my son and a Disney Animators' Elsa doll for my own personal collection. That Aurora's dress is so pretty, but I don't like her face at all. I agree with SwordPony, not worth buying her just for the dress :( I might get her if she goes on clearance, but facial beauty is usually a deal breaker for me when getting a doll :P
Does anyone have either of the Tiana dolls by Integrity Toys, the Ashton Drake ones? They're really pricey, but these are the ONLY Tiana dolls that I've found that actually look like her and are made well. I just don't like how the faces look on the Mattel and Disney Store ones and my Naveen doll is lonely :P They both look stunning and I'd really like to get both of them. yes they were released in the Uk too - I got mine there back in december but I dont think they've stocked them again since then, or maybe only once since then . Keep a look out though and hopefully they'll have some more in one day :)

Could anyone recommend a place I can purchase doll stands? I want to display all my Disney dolls but want them to stand up on their own.
I picked up Aladdin and Jasmine from the post office today! I missed the call to buzz them in while I ran into my parents' house to pick up some of my mail and today was the only day I could pick them up. I'm so happy with them!

For people who love the Disney Parks dolls... you can call the Dinsey Parks 800 number and do a phone order as if it were a magazine order. Shipping was around $7 for my wedding Ariel from Florida to Ohio.
I may have to order that Merida because I forgot about seeing her when we went to WDW in January.

Thank you!!! It's a dream come true!!! We're getting married at Sea Breeze Point on the Boardwalk so it's going to be super pretty and romantic!!! I wish I went to Disney that often! I've only been twice! Back in 2000 and in 2011 for my 21st birthday! I'm sorry that you didn't get your dream wedding! :( Maybe one day you can do a vow renewal or a small wedding for just the two of you there! That would be super romantic! Just you and the hubby! <3 I'll definitely share lots of pictures when I get back from my honeymoon! I'm just beyond thrilled that I'm going to be a Disney princess! :D

Does anyone have comparison photos of Disney Infinity pieces with other figures (or other game pieces)?
I've never seen one out of the package IRL, and I haven't seen any photos of them with items that give a good idea of scale.

Yeah, you can catch sales every so often if you keep your eyes out. My Walmart has Rapunzel on clearance right now for $5, but just her.
Maleficent and Merida look good....but I'm getting super sick of them using primarily Pixar characters with a few live-action movie characters thrown in. It's Disney Infinity, not Disney's Franchise Infinity. Sooooo not excited about the Marvel characters!

Speaking of the new singing dolls, I caved and bought one the other day. I was looking at an old singing Cinderella that was on clearance for $10 in the Disney Store, but I was curious about what Tiana looked like. One of the Cast Members got her from the back (they're waiting for new costumes to put both out?) and I saw her and couldn't put her back! She's gorgeous, seriously the best Tiana yet~

If anyone was thinking about the new singing dolls that Disney have out now that come with the accessories and sing you can't make the Ariel doll sing while she's in the box. :( I don't live near a Disney store but I was in a town with one so I went in to see what they had. I had seen the singing doll online and was thinking about ordering one later on. I saw the new singing doll at the store but when I pressed her seashell her tail flipped but she didn't sing. I took her to the checkout and asked if you could make her sing in the box but the cashier said you have to move her hand and there's no way to reach it while she was in the box. I like to keep my Disney dolls in their boxes so I put the singing Ariel back. :(

Wow... I'm looking at ebay while I'm waiting for the dolls and normally I don't EVER see The Little Mermaid Melody dolls for sale (my grail doll!) And there are FOUR of them mint in box for sale! And also a loose one :shocked: The $400-$600 price tag means I'll only have her in my dreams though unless I'm insanely lucky one day :P

Bow Tie, I always go to bed at my regular time and then set an alarm to wake me up fifteen minutes before the doll pages go up and go back to sleep immediately. Could that be an option for you?I wish, but that night we're doing the Halloween party at Magic Kingdom and we'll be there until midnight and it might take a while to get back to the hotel so it wouldn't be worth it for me unfortunately.
I'm really disappointed that Aurora comes out while I'm on my honeymoon. I don't know what to do. I'm definitely getting Aurora, Pocahontas, and Cinderella :) On the fence about Mulan and Tiana! Aurora is my favorite because I LOVE her peasant dress in the movie and I'm so happy to see her in it and Ariel in her blue dress! :)

My husband is taking me up to buildabear for ponies and the isney Store on Thursday to pick out $100 in anniveraery gifts since i bought him Destiny and an imported Zoids model kit from Japan.

Oh great, so our Disney dolls might have pirate legs aka nubs for feet! xD I am really hoping the dolls will be improved, but its Hasbro. Im kinda squeamish about them making dolls. Their Gem dolls are beautiful, I hope the same for Disney Princess dolls. I hope they can make Ariel the right color, not sunburned! To me a lot of the Ariel dolls look too red.

And I think a couple of other princesses took a couple of days as well besides at least Ariel of course. I remember Designer Villain Mother Gothel took at least a year to sell out same with the LE Merida/Queen Elinor set. I ended up getting Mother Gothel for like $20-$25 or something after shipping and tax.

Not sure if this is true but I heard that a lot of people who ordered the pink one are trying to cancel their order so they can order the blue one instead on the 8th.I've been hearing the same thing on tumblr. You can cancel your order online, but not in stores. I'm looking at my receipt and it says the limited edition items (excluding apparel) cannot be returned or exchanged so those who pre-ordered the pink dress will either have to sell her or trade her for the blue dress.

IIRC, some of the Designer Villains were on the website for quite a while, and the earlier Fairytale Couples from the first set were there for a week+. I don't think the Designer collections are as popular, for whatever reason, plus each doll has a pretty big edition size. And I think a lot of people are waiting for the 17 inch dolls, too.The Princess Designer Collection was really HOT and it still hot on the second hand market. The others didn't do as well, but it also depends on the characters as well. Ariel and Belle are two princesses that are really popular. The Villains had a way too big of an edition size. I think they were around 13k.

I went out despite my sickness with my mom to try and get a designer Fairytale collection Mulan and Li Shang doll set from the disney store. I remember going to the movie theatres when I was 8 years old. We came late to the theater to watch Mulan and mom liked it so much we watched it twice ahah but I got called first in the raffle *so happy dance*

I recommend trying for the raffle so you can cut costs on the shipping through the disneystore.com. If you don't get luck through the raffle I would get them them online like Sprinkles has mentioned. You can even ask the cast members at your store how many doll sets they have for Aurora. They are sometimes nice enough to give you a number so you can figure out your chances. If there are several disney stores in the area it would be good to call all of them to see how many doll set of Aurora they are getting to.

GoGo's armor is either 2 part snap together plastic or unremovable.yep! I was going to say this, her yellow armor looked like two pieces that snap together. =) As soon as I get paid I might buy her LOL.

Keep in mind, the villains were an edition size of 13,000! That is huge! These princesses will not last as long as they did. I don't think they will get discounted. They might, but I still doubt it.

Honestly? I have no idea, the European sites are sold out thought, and they were up about a week ago. I expect them to go quite fast unless they made tons of them. Frozen is still pretty big :/

Some of the dolls have click rubber knees, others have hinged knees. I know the skating dolls have the hinged knees, but IMO they're the worse of the two options. For whatever reason the hinged knees tend to make the dolls incredibly bow-legged, and they look... less than classy, when you try making them sit.thanks! good to know.

My favorite was Ariel too. I love that she's in her pink dress! We saw these last week I think, and the other day we picked up Ariel. Guinevere only needs one more sticker on her chart to earn the doll! It was perfect because not only did we not have a Disney Store Ariel yet, but that was also one of the pets she didn't have.
They also had this figurine set which we picked up the first day we saw it.

Kristoff at least is definitely just the 12 inch doll, and the girls look like the dolls that came with either deluxe doll set. So the outfits could still be anything!

OOOH so today we took a trip down to the Disney Store for the Family 25%off sale aaaand I found both Go Go and Honey Lemon Classic dolls!!!I impulse bought them! I wanted to buy all the Frozen ornaments but decided to get the Big Hero 6 dolls instead. I LOVE THEM!! I haven't seen the movie yet (maybe Monday?) as the movie theater is packed as sardine cans. So I don't know much about the movie so I will just add my pics below! Honey Lemon is sooo cute! <3 I wish they packaged her helmet like Tamago's, because her beautiful face is hidden behind that opaque shield thing on her helmet. I am in love with them- if you like them but are on the fence just get them now! Mine will stay MIB because the boxes are cool. I wish there was a Hiro one but hes more of an action-figure-kind-of-character for toys.

Well I took a picture but it doesn't do wedding Ariel justice at all. I need to take a better one. She looks washed out in this picture and in real life that's not the case. In real life the wedding dress is bright white and it sparkles. Her face mold is so much prettier than my picture makes it look. She really looks just like Ariel should. :)

Maybe Bowtie knows how much she costs at the parks since she went to Disney World last month? I took another look at my Disney Parks Ariel. The bodice of the dress is bright white satin, the sleeves are sheer and the tulle skirt and veil sparkle. :)
The Disney Signature Belle looks pretty but I've been a little disappointed with how the other characters have turned out.

Ugh. I didn't even notice the glitter until you mentioned it. Glitter is such a pain and I don't understand why they can't come up with a way to seal it so it doesn't come off everytime you touch it.

These are 17 inches like the other LEs, right? I promised myself I wouldn't buy dolls outside 1/6 scale, but I really like these. I'm super excited for their Frozen Fever dresses; leaked pictures made them seem 11 inches. I hope this doesn't mean those will never get realeased.

I havnt seen her yet, but you can rule out most Walmarts carrying them. We stopped carring the line during wave 1....:( Theres no modulars for it at any of my stores or my work (poopy) I would def try hunting at Toys R Us first! Target might still carry the signature line.... check the pricetag lables on any empty spots! Im in LOVE with this years Mattel's disney dolls. They are making their last year making Disney Dolls certainly their best! :D

Ooooo anyways, about the Disney Store 11" vs. the Mattel 11" dolls I personally perfer the Mattel ones!! I DO love the Disney Store wedding doll with the Prince better than the Mattel wedding doll but when it comes to the blue gown Cinderella, Fairy Godmother, and Lady Tremane definitely go with the Mattel ones! :ohyeah: Their faces look so much better. I decided to go with the LE 17" Cinderella because I wanted the bigger version of her ball gown dress to contrast my collection plus... she is so pretty! Did any of your local Disney Stores get in Cinderella!? If they did, not sure how it works in the UK, I wold check out your local DS and see if they have any LE Cinderellas left in stock. Well, I did contact the seller and this was their response:
"hello sorry for any inconvenience please return the item for a refund thanks"
So does this mean they expect me to pay to send it back? That's not fair. It was their screw up. I can't seem to find how to file a claim against the seller, either. I can only find some option to return the item that says I'll get refunded what I paid originally, but it doesn't mention if I'll get reimbursed for return shipping or not.
In the meantime, I went ahead and ordered a replacement directly from the Disney Store. Since they're still doing the sale where they're $10 each if you buy 2 or more, I bought 2 Rapunzel and I'll keep one for myself and put the other one up for my niece until she's a bit older.
eBay updated things again. Annoying, right? Here's what I found:

I actually saw both in real life and in the UK she has a crazy price difference!!! :dropjaw:
Mattel (blue dress) = £42.99 - that's $64.00 !! eeep! :faint:
Disney Store(blue dress) = £25.95 - that's $38.00 (surprisingly not that different from the US price this time )
(the other Mattel dolls in this set are £29.99 each BTW, the other DS dolls are the same except for the wedding couple and they are just over £50.00)
Also after seeing them both in person I prefer Disney Store (actually with all the dolls in this range) . Hubby bought me that one. In pictures and videos on youtube etc the Mattel ones do look better, but to me (at least the ones of seen in the UK), while the dresses are definitely presented better in the box, the Mattel quality is not anywhere near as good as DS , regardless of articulation in my personal opinion :awake: Also if you take DS Ella out of her box, her dress is layered and sticks out too , more like the movie. Her box actually squashes her dress and makes her not look as good (eg- her head looks big and her dress looks small :crazy: ) . On mine I deboxed her and also lowered her top a bit so she is more movie accurate and she looks really pretty :lovey: . Back with pics in a bit :heart:

The email is usually needed just for the order confirmation. As long as your address is correct you should get your dolls safe and sound at least a week from purchase date :3

So there doing a Heros/Villains exclusive. I've seen Ariel and Ursula doll. They are suppose to be 12 inches. There are suppose to be more. The only ones I have heard about is Elsa and Hans.

I'm absolutely stoked for the Tangled and Peter Pan set! They are by far my favorite! :heart: I'll probably get the Frozen set too. I really want Snow White, but I don't like the Hag. Between these designers and the possible three Aladdin LEs (Red Jasmine, Aladdin, Jafar), my wallet will be non-existent. And I can't forget that I'll be going to Disney World in 20 days. I, um, "accidentally" bought an Ursula 40th Anniversary Great Villain LE to go with my Maleficent one I also "accidentally" bid on and won a while a go.

Edit: You know what, I've been looking at the back of the boxes online and found there is two Cruella dolls, and the order is Cruella (Power in Pinstripes) first, Cruella (Ruthless in Red) second, Ursula third, Evil Queen fourth and Maleficent fifth. If Jafar and Hook exist they must be super elusive...
Is this Cinderella pack new? It's a bit pricy at 210 dollars. But I haven't seen it before.

I don't believe they are out yet. I am pretty sure the one Ringlets has is the D23 exclusive Elsa/Hans set. And it was only available at D23. I personally haven't seen any dates yet. But I could be wrong.
It's not really a doll but I found a human Ariel Funko Pop at Barnes and Noble on Friday. :) She's really cute.That's awesome! I finally saw the Rapunzel Funko Pop at Hot Topic, but I'm hoping to get her at Barnes and Noble. They're usually cheaper there.

Does anyone know of where I can find some free simple patterns that fit the Disney Animator dolls? My aunt (who has MS) wants to sew some clothes for Belle and Cinderella that belong to my niece but doesn't have the fine motor skills to do fiddle/frilly dresses and such.
I've looked in google and pintrest but haven't had much luck for free patterns.

News from my hubby's side! (Good gosh we are sooo busy with dolls and movies today!) He is at another DS and was first to get an Aladdin! He took a picture of the ticket for me but I'm in the bathroom with no time to post it lol. Luckily I CAN pick up my doll today after all since I preordered her before I was hired but i have to wait when I go home but yaaaaay! So Jazzie will be riding home with me and my snuggles has Aladdin at home waiting to meet his lover! x3 I reeeeeaaaaaallllllyyyy want Punzie and Gothel designer dolls but I wasn't gonna make my poor man wait allll day at the mall in the afternoon since he got there at 7:33am! The wedding set were up for at least 45 minutes last night but I won't pay $750 for that type of doll. At first I thought there must be some sort of an error with that price. I don't like 18" dolls but I got Jafar regardless, because it is Jafar.
Sometimes Disney closes and open sales. When I went to check out of curiousity around 1245 I could have purchased them. I could be wrong about the time as i was tired, but there was a window that I could have purchased the wedding set. Then I went to bed.It didn't say sold out, but it took it out of your cart at checkout if you managed to get that far.
I really need to not spend money, but if I get a chance to get the new fairy tale designer Ursula I might have to jump on it. I did find some YouTube videos showing how to do it. The two tabs underneath are the only thing holding the case in place, I thought there would be more lol. You have to gently pull down on them to release it. They said you would hear a loud click letting you know it has been released but mine didn't. I just very slowly and gently pulled to release and slide the case off. The most difficult part is sliding it all the way off and trying to not damage the cardboard since there are little tabs inside holding it in place. Mine was already a little damaged so it was hard to see if anything actually happened from me pulling it out. And I guess some of the cases will reseal themselves and others won't, so just need to be careful handling it after if you decide to open it. I'm hoping mine will since I never heard the click, maybe it wasn't fully sealed to begin with. I thought it would be more difficult but I think I just got lucky. It was a little scary, but I just went really slow. Oh and I'm kinda pissed since when I went to push Ursula's earring back in it broke!!! I barely touched the thing!!! So know I'm gonna have to put a little bit of glue on her ear and maybe her face since the part inside her ear fell inside her and I don't think the little end that's now her earring post will stay in her hole :(

OMG. Words cannot describe how PACKED it was today! The crazy died down and I was sent on my 15 min break! Im in the food court watching customers from afar. Holy COW those customers..... I do not think even Black Friday will be THAT packed like it was today! We had 15 dolls each come in and two different lines! One wrapped from the outside of the store ALL the way to the movie theater down the mall and another line, smaller, for the dolls. People were mad there werent enough dolls and had to have a ticket to buy them. People were mad the Xmas set was expensive. Buuuut we got PLENTY of Peter Pan Tsums in! Dude.... Im here enjoying my fries and ice cream sundae from Sonic just in SHOCK how many people there were. Oh my squee.

The Hasbro dolls have been found on taobao in package. The packaging looks very basic so I guess these are the basic dolls. I hope there will be deluxe dolls with more articulation.

Saw four of the new Hasbro dolls at my TRU today. They had Pocahontas, Jasmine, Merida, and Mulan. There were two sets of these four dolls. I am not impressed. I thought I was going to pick up a Jasmine, but seeing her in person didn't make her jump into my arms. I kinda like Pocahontas's outfit, but her face was just misprinted or something. They were $9.99
Great deal, Spiffy! Can't get much better than $4 :) I'm still debating on getting Anna. I think she's adorable, but I'm running out of room!! XD I did get Animator's Rapunzel though :) She arrived with her box slashed (probably from a box cutter) and Disney sent me a new one plus a $10 gift card :woot: So now I have a doll to keep in the box and one to open, I just have to find the room :P
I know I'm late to the party on the new dolls. But I found some of them at target Friday. They had Long Locks Belle and she came home with me. She is super adorable. And while I know the posing is a bummer for some. But she will mostly set on a shelf so no biggie for me.

BTW, some of the Looking Glass merch is already being marked down in Disney Stores! I got the mug marled down for $7, I want that adorable journal to get marked down from $22. I saw the Film Collection (11" Disney Store Looking Glass dolls) were marked down about -$10, they are about $29 now. The plates and hopefully everything else should go on sale soon! ( btw maaaan I miss working at Disney Store...)

Jeeeze hopefully anyone here who wanted to try online for these dolls got one! Ive been online just watching them myself and the website has been crashing nonstop off and on since they released the dolls like half an hour late. Everyone on Disney LE dolls Facebook is freaking out in the comments. Even if I lived hours away from a Disney Store I would have done that for these Limited Edition dolls.... I would have literally in all seriousness had a heart attack online trying to get this one.

She is super amazing!! I am so glad I got the other two, because they look great together, especially Belle and Beast, but Belle is still the best. So much lovely detail and the hair and colors! A real masterpiece! I just realized I need to check the number and see if any of them are fun.
Anyone been getting the new sets? It's hard to resist them, but after the Belle dolls, I have been more careful to add more to my collection immediately.

Unfortunately yes ): They were horrible under Mattel (the generic Frozen dolls are terrifying) but Hasbro is so awful at dolls. It just sucks. I wish they had half decent alternatives to the DS versions, but that would cost them sales so they won't do it.
