Life can be overwhelming....

Hello everyone!  I feel as if I've been gone forever!  I got married, then I traveled a lot, and then shortly after that my mom passed away.  Soooo....I've been really overwhelmed with the passed year and a half.  Has anyone else gotten married?  Lost a loved one?  It really takes a toll on you.  But I'm glad to be back, and I cannot wait for the Pony Fair this summer (I haven't gone to one in two years).  But I'm super excited, because it's such a nice feeling to be surrounded by all this pony love!  I just wanted to say hi, and know if anyone else has been overwhelmed with life?

Thank you Eviecorn!  Yes, it's been very stressful!  I hardly had time to think about ponies!  But I'm glad I am back!

I've not been through anything significant, but every day life does seem to stress me out sometimes That's why I go to therapy I guess

I've been a bit overwhelmed - over the past 18 months I travelled halfway across the country for surgery, graduated from college (after 13 years working on my degree), got engaged, moved out of my parents' house - 1000 miles away to kentucky where I don't know anyone except my fiancé, got married, moved into a new apartment, got pregnant almost immediately (WOW that surgery really worked, lol), got pregnancy complications immediately afterwards - necessitating a mad scramble to locate new doctors and such here in kentucky, got my first car, and got my first house.  I'm now 7 months pregnant, and struggling to remain calm while packing for yet ANOTHER move.  And, just yesterday, I learned that my favorite cousin died VERY unexpectedly, which has been shocking.)

What a time!!!!!

 

(My relatives, after seeing me take 13 years to get through college, and not knowing me to date anyone prior to my now-husband, tend to think that I've completely LOST my mind.)

Melodys_angel, thanks!  It's been nice seeing everyones excitement about the pony fair and new brags!  It's the little things in life!  And TraderTif omg!  Thats a lot of traveling, and I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy!  Lost is very hard, my mom was unexpected too.  The hardest thing is realizing from time to time, you can't call that person and you wish you could just call them and tell them something.  Just remember it's ok to cry, I still randomly cry and it's been almost 4 months ago.

Welcome back! We all can get caught up in life. Glad you'll be able to attend the fair. :o)

Life lately has been physically exhausting and with that gets to be emotionally draining. Working 1 full-time and 4 part-time jobs takes its toll on me. I've had 1 day off in the last 3 weeks... and I think my husband actually misses spending time with me...

It always seems that it pours and everthing goes wrong at the same time. But it will get better with time. I know cause I have been threw it many many times. Just think about the pony show coming up

If I can get more ponies listed and sold it could happen! It's at least close enough to drive to this year and I have a buddy to go along too. I'll sleep in the back of the Jeep if I have to!

I usually have 50-60 hour work weeks. I'm not totally crazy, everything has just fallen into place and somehow I make it work. If anyone ever called me lazy I'd deck them! LOL It's a routine, work, home, occasional custom and daily arena visits... However I need to make time for more customs...

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom, it is not easy to lose a parent. So far I've just lost a grandfather and that was/still is hard enough (but that's its own sad story), I give you kudos and hugs!

...marriage is something you just take in strides, LOL.
