New Sailor Moon Anime announced for 2013!!!!

COOL!  I can't freaking wait to see this!  If/when the English dub comes, though, I do hope they won't completely screw it up like they did with the old series.  (still grinds teeth over the name changes)

Naoko was super upset with the SM English dub and all the changes/edits it made, right? I hope she doesn't stop this new series from being licensed in the English-speaking regions due to her bad past experiences. :x  Not to mention the fact that the original SM anime is having a helluva time even being re-released in English-speaking regions at all. Going through the posts in the SM fan forum is like subjecting yourself to strange and unusual punishment; all the excitement only to be let down again and again lol (*cry*).

(Personally, I prefer to watch things in its original spoken language as opposed to dubs but I like the option to be open for others who don't share my preference.)

Oh, so apparently they're aiming for a worldwide simultaneous release of this new anime. Hopefully they can pull it off well. xD

A new Sailor Moon? How depressing. v.v I think the new 21 Jump Street summed it up when they commented that everything now is recycled material with nothing new and original.

Well, being based on a manga, I'm not sure the SM anime could every be considered truly original in the first place. Or most anime in that case.

Although that does bring up an interesting point...I can think of a few anime that have been remade, but it doesn't seem to be too common.
