G1 Lemon Drop question

Holy cow, I go away for a bit and suddenly there's a whole new Arena!  Good work guys!
ANYWAY!  I'm in the process of cataloging my horribly neglected collection and I have 2 Lemon Drops that i'm trying to place properly.  They both have the same standard markings on their feet but one has more grey-ish purple symbols and one has definite bright purple symbols.  It doesn't seem like a matter of fading, as the hair is the same on both.  I'm guessing one is a playset edition, but was she released as a single anywhere?  Anyone able to help me out???

There was a Mail Order one.

I have 1 with purple eyes and another with blue eyes- to add a twist, however the blue could be a fading issue I suppose.

I know that a lot of the playset ponies are quite "crappy" quality and relatively have no science or rather no conformity to them...

You have 2 HK versions one with light drops that is stamped one front hoove: 82 hasbro pat pend and the othet hoove hong kong
The second HK has darker drops and is a mail order pony that has 4 hooves stamped front 1982 hasbro and othet pat pending. Hind hooves made in and the other hong kong.

You can find all LD ponies on here ordered on countrt and it says which hoove is stamped with what.

squint and tilt your head a little to the right, guess the one on the right is the MO version.

So, a related question Moondancer115; are you aware if all collector pose MO's have 4 concave feet stamped? (I don't think we've really found a standard way to ID MO's yet.)

No i don't know if all MO's have 4 hoovea stamped sorry. Only knew this was a MO because i looked her op on diferent sites and every site said it was the mail order because of the color of the drops and the stamped feet. But don't know if the hooves count for all the MO.
Interesting question btw. It gives me some material to think about

It's nice to know that Lemon Drop is noticibly different and easy to identify as a MO. :O) I've now moved my darker symbol version into the curio cabinet. Lucky MO gal!

Purple eyes can fade to blue.

(I know that MO Cotton Candy is noticibly darker than other released CC's. I have 2 that are very dark and have the 4 foot stamps.)

Really don't know if she is a mailorder sorry.
I only know LD maybe you can find it on google that is how i came up with the LD site

AWESOME!  Thanks so much you guys (Moondancer especially)!  I thought they both only had 2 feet stamped, but now that you're mentioning it I'm pretty sure I was wrong.  I've been organizing so many ponies lately it's hard to keep track of what I have to check on and I'm at work, so....obviously they're not with me!  I'll be moving the dark symboled gal into the MO storage bin!  Thanks again!

I have 3 Lemondrops, one has blush, the others don't. Been wondering which ones which, I need to check their hooves too

wow this helped me check my 2 gals and I have the playset pony from childhood and I acquired a lemondrop at a yard sale who is the mail order...I never paid close attention to the hoove markings,I need to pay more attention to such information there

You have a european LD she is the only LD that has blush and she is stampes china instead of hong kong
