So I finally finished my first pony in almost a year- Arkham City Joker! For this pony I wanted to make one in complete grey scale, and make him a bit devious-looking to capture the Joker's personality! His base was a G3, and he was sculpted with Apoxie, sanded, and hand painted with acrylics and sealed with Dullcote and Triple Thick. So after reading a few articles about the future of 3D printing today and piracy issues via reddit ( http://wire.kapitall.com/investment-idea/3d-craze-marks-start-of-technology-disruption/), and seeing a lot of 3D printed customs pop up on my DA account, I have to ask, what do you ladies and gents think of this as an impact to the custom world? Do you think it will have a positive or negative impact, or an impact at all? Are these even considered customs? Hey all!
So I've been away from the custom world, and am slowly getting back into things. I've been noticing that some of my common ponies that I've baited before (Like, Lilly Blossom, doh) are becoming more hard to find. Besides the obvious ones like the SDCC Ditzy Doo Hooves, what should I avoid?
I hear the ones with the bangs are more rare... is this true? How about the molded ones that originally came out right after the show? How about blind bags?

Hi all, TGG here! I'm still around, although I haven't done much customizing in the past year or so. (I've been working on action figures tho!)
Anyways, I have a weird question. So, lets say you made yourself a custom or two for a special event in your life, and spent a long time ON said customs, then things didn't turn out as is for the special event. Yet, they are kind of specialized to your event. Would you sell your customs? If so, would you re-work them or sell them as is?
On a related note, if anyone remembers those cake toppers I made about a year and a half ago... they are going to be for sale, I'm just not sure HOW to sell them!
Anyways, I have a few ponies that I have done over the past year that I haven't gotten around to posting yet, so I will soon!
Gotta say, I'm impressed with what I've seen so far and I've missed you all! I hope to be around more soon!

Hi all!
So I haven't really been in touch with the pony community for about a year- I went through some stuff in my personal life, got overwhelmed with custom ponies and collecting, had some changes, and now here I am!
I've actually completed some customs that I'll post soon on the customs board, and although I'm not collecting at the moment (well, besides blind bags!) I'll still be around.
I've missed you guys! Just wanted to say hi!!! And TGG IS STILL HERE!!!

This may be old news if anyone follows me on facebook, but a few weeks ago it was finally announced that my custom World of Warcraft action figure "Rielus the Paladin" won first place in a custom action figure contest put on by GoNative toys, the maker of the base I used!!! I'm so excited!!!
