Makes perfect sense! Two birthdays ago my mom adopted a manatee for me. ^_^ It is a really cool gift. It's been one of my favorite gifts over the years, for sure.

Yes . My childhood best friend was in love with manatees and got an adopted one for Christmas one year xD.

I think its a great gift because it helps the animals, and sometimes they send the "adopter" pictures and a little blurb about the animal and such :].

That makes sense. My fifth grade class soon creed a wolf back when they were threatened. Now they are doing well!

Awww, neat! If I remember right...when I was in fourth grade we sponsored an animal at the Phoenix Zoo. We all got to go on a field trip and see the animal and all that. Fueling my animal love from a young age, I suppose xP

Dear people who are crafty...what kinds of crafts are you doing for your partner? I would like to include some homemade things...but am having trouble coming up with ideas.

For my partener, I am doing something different for their wrappies. it's going to be nice furoshiki-style wrapping (here's a link that shows you some ways to do them: http://www.nanoda.com/furoshiki-1000-ways-to-carry-your-bento/ ) These also come in handy for bento boxes and other things too.

I have an idea now for one partner. The other is more difficult.

By the way, if my partner wants other ideas for wrapping, Easter or spring stuff would be nice. I love chicks and bunnies and flowers. Figured all the Valentines stuff is over and done.  But these are just ideas. You can do whatever you want and I'll be sure to be happy!  I didn't want you to think I only want V-Day stuff.

I am there to. A box from me wouldnt be complete without something hand made, but my partner doesn't seem that into it. They are actually like opposite my personality.

I have considered... Origami, jewelry, soap, knitting a scarf, customs, clothes, modded ear buds, nail art, temp tattoos, sculpture, painting, sketch, snack, hair pin, sun glasses, etc. but nothing really fits well.

Since I've been saving my pennies for a car, this swap is like the only thing I have to look forward to in the upcoming months! I can't buy myself anything and it's killing me LOL

I can't wait!

On another note, I also can't wait to send my stuff to my partner because I know they are going to be VERY happy!
