And oh my goodness, I didn't like Mimic before, but this thread made me really want her. O.O Pity I haven't the money or luck for such a pony.

lol at first i was the same way! i didn't understand what all the fuss was, and thought "i don't really like her all that much.. what's the big deal?" but then i saw everyone posting pictures of theirs and it made me want her. i got a parakeet and asked what i should name her (pony themed) and some people suggested mimic (which fits her personality) so it stuck! and then i HAD to have one.

I've never owned the real one but several years ago I made customs of her:

Fairly basic one with Saran hair and a full body repaint.. I know I sold her, I don't remember who/where to!


And this one lives with me, she was a joke custom after Mimic got so much hype and a huge pricetag, someone mentioned that for the money she should be a So-Soft, rearing pose, Super-Long-Hair, Twinkle-Eye pony!


...So she is!

Cakepop - don't be downhearted plenty of people have found a bargain Mimic and hey, if Rapunzel can be found in a thrift store so can Mimic  :)  x

Yup!  My sister is one of those people!  She found her in a bag of other ponies at Goodwill, and paid (if I remember right) $2 for the entire bag.  I got the joy of holding her and cleaning her up before she sold her off to help pay rent. :)

Oh my gosh, that MIB Mimic!!!! So gorgeous! I didn't think much of Mimic the first time I saw her, but now I just think she is soooooo pretty! Some day I'll have her, someday when I have money!

Are you kidding?!?!? I was thinking that she was the most amazing custom! I absolutely love her! I'd LOVE to own her. :)
