I have a question

May sound odd, but since it seems I couldn't bump my own threads any more which i can sort of understand. So may I ask, what you do to bring a thread back up if you have new items to add to something, say like your customs sale. Do you just create a new one as you can't bump your old one? Also the same question aplied to autions when you want to let anyone who may be intrested but hasn't posted to the tread know it's ending? I ask because these parts of the forums the autions especailly can be fast moving and you end up off the first page very quickly.

What do you mean by you can't bump your threads? You can, you just have to wait 24 hours if you were the last poster. If someone else has posted, you can bump it. The Arena merges consecutive posts from the same person within 24 hours - after 24 hours is up, you can bump it.

For some reason people seem to be thinking that you can't bump your own threads now at all. I thought that was odd, especially as I couldn't find any site announcement. o.O Dunno where that's come from.

not so I tried to bump my sale thread and it was over 24hrs between posts by a few minets and it merged my posts... so unless it's now more than 24hrs or it needed to be longer over the 24hrs. It's why i asked incase I'd simply miss juged the amout of time or if things had cahnged or soemthing. I get confused easilly some times. I'm starting to think I've just had a moment and gotten lost a little.

I think you misjudged the timing - it is still 24 hours, nothing has changed.

If you look at your original post time, and the merge time (ie when you made your second post/bump) - you'll see you were 5 hours early. For my timezone, it shows your post made at 8:27 AM, and your bump made at 3:46 AM the next day.

Do you have your time settings correct to your location? That may make a difference. (under Look and Layout in your profile - time settings - Auto Detect)
