Possible new official plushies?

Someone on a pony forum I go to posted these in the toy thread. There are multiples available, so I doubt they're hand-made one-offs. Plus, the seller has listings for other plushies based off of other shows and such. Could these be official?

These have come up before, and I think consensus is that they are bootleg plushes being produced in China :-/  They do look better than official plushes for the most part, don't they?

Just because there is more then one does not mean they are not handmade.  Once you have the pattern down and you are good at sewing you can make bunches.  That is what folks do for craft fairs.  I see no tags so I am gonna say not official.

What could have happened, is maybe a company in China might have gotten access to someone's patterns, and have decided to mass-produce them. Just my theory, though. I'm sure I heard it here somewhere..

i've seen the spike one on ebay and in one of the   desc it  claims it to be a cheap alternative to hasbros spike.

I doubt those are legit or will be released but I wish! I have seen these before and I love them! I am not loving the plush that have come out so far. Would love to see something better.

I think I saw one of those Dr. Whooves for sale from a Chinese ebayer that was listed as OOAK HANDMADE... but they had quite a few of them for auction lol

Yes last time we talked about these a month or so ago the consensus was very much "fakie" or "bootleg". I think we have now seen all of the main 6, Applejack just turned up about 2 or 3 days ago, the dragon, Spike, Luna as well as a few others.

1) They are being sold by multiple sellers - if these were legit there would not be so many with so many sellers by now - a handful is one thing the dozens of sellers and hundreds of units is a different thing altogether.
2) They were initially coming from China/HK/Singapore sellers or known US based sellers of Chinese factory stock
3) No tags and no material guides
4) Hasbro dont actually make any of their MLP plushies - all of this is outsourced to other companies - for G4 the only confirmed actual licensed plush manufacturers are Funrise and Aurora
5) In addition to these a couple of sellers are also carrying plush of characters who are "fan" favs and who it is unlikely Hasbro are going to turn into plush - Dr Whooves being a case in point, the Spa twins and others.
6) The auction listings are largely fictitious - OOAK but multiple available, hand made but literally dozens and dozens listed

But hey...who knows...we can keep hoping for more accurate but the last accurate plush I remember Hasbro releasing was the G1 softies

Hmmm maybe they are, but for now, no tags means not official merchandise.

They look icky, but I hope Funrise takes notice and expands their 10" plush line because I'd be happy to but all of these characters.

Hasbro used to make plushies. The early TRU Exclusive G4s were their doing, as are the G3.5 and G3. Understandable why they'd stop and outsource the plush manufacturing to licensees.
