3D Firefly Painting

Hahaha well, I can't believe I'm posting this, but here goes nothing. Perhaps inspired by the legendary half-a-pony purses, or perhaps just desperate to make use of the fakies I have stacking up from well-meaning friends... I made this:

That's right, it's Firefly! With... donuts, ice cream, chocolate, a cupcake, bon bons and lots of sprinkles and glitter! Does it make sense? No! Did I enjoy making it? Heck yes!

And her face! She has friendly eyes and wants to be your friend! I also scultped her hair and that went a lot better than I expected!


Well, what do you think? Is the half-a-pony look too creepy for you? Or is this a good use of unwanted fakies?

Haha! That is brilliant, wonderfully executed How difficult was it to get the pony cut flat enough to rest against the canvas?

I actually didn't worry to much about cutting her flat... I used silicone to attach her to the canvas, so I was able to fill in any spots where she wasn't laying flat to the canvas really easily!

Also, wanna know the best part about cutting her in half to make a painting??  TWO PONY PAINTINGS FROM ONE PONY! Whooo!
