Wanted! / Canadian Lay's Do us a Flavor for our American ones?
« on: September 08, 2014, 09:07:32 PM »
Hi there! I'd love to try some of the Lay's Canadian Do us a Flavor chips as seen here:

https://www.dousaflavour.ca/

In exchange I offer you our four flavors:

https://www.dousaflavor.com/#!/

Here in the states they come in two bag sizes. If they come in the same sizes in CA, we'll most likely trade the smaller size bags.

Thank you!

Oh gosh it's beautiful! Not something I'd buy being that it's only one size though. And I do wish it were licensed.

You mean this ISN'T the Lovely Horse Arena? Dangit, I'm lost on the internet again!

For Trade / Loose G3s and G1s
« on: August 23, 2014, 09:15:38 PM »
Sorry for the photo quality. Today was the day I had set aside for picture taking, and it was overcast for most of it. >.< I can take better pics of details if requested. My sales are listed here: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,359467.msg1253307.html

I do not have a want list posted. I collect all four gens and related merchandise. I will also accept money for anything here if you want.

Glitterbelle isn't sticky yet, but her body feels different. She still stands well, but her front leg is bent. Here's a pic comparing her to TT, in her same pose: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/Dragonessa/TradeSale/DSCN1535_zpscc781dce.jpg

Desert Blossom, Pineapple Paradise. Pineapple still retains her scent faintly, and her plastic is still in her tail, with some stray hairs having come out of it.

Babies Pink Sunsparkle and Romperooni. I don't know about any differences between releases of Romperooni but I can say this: She's identical to my first release collection one, and my mother found them together in a thrift shop, so its possible she came with Pink Sunsparkle in the Celebration Castle re-release.

Scooters and scooter accessories! The purple/white one is Cupcake II's and has its flag and helmet. The pink/orange one is Lullabelle II's and has her alternate color bag.

G1s:

Moondancer and Parasol have great bodies and hair. Moondancer has major glitter loss and is a great candidate for restoration practice.

Rarity was cleaned up after being found outside, but she has some ear and leg scuffs still: http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Dragonessa/media/TradeSale/DSCN1529_zpsc7ed9d29.jpg.html. She'd be great custom/restoration practice! If you trade/buy from me I'll throw one in free upon request!

It's great to know that while I don't go on the boards often anymore, some things never change. I saw this thread and thought "Halicabi probably has them all." XD

Very amused at Fluttershy though. Those are Amberlocks's colors!

I have a Star Catcher in that shape as well. My collection is scattered right now. Let me see if I have a pic laying around. *digs*

There they are all lined up on the side.

I think I have the Pinkie one from a previous transaction, hence my desire for these. Never saw a Fluttershy one though.

I also have two of the bottle toppers with brushable hair, and Rainbow Dash walking over a waterfall. These are US, though, and these full body ones are UK.

I bought one Princess Luna bootleg plushie, and then about a week afterwards, I impulse-bought a better one. Oh well.

Some of those are really nice quality, by the way! We have pals who own the Celestia and Alicorn Rarity. I love the fabric.

Since this seems to be kinda "purchases you regret" kinda thing, I kinda regret buying Bon Bon around Christmas. I thought TRU would stop carrying her faster and I got the only one left on the shelf. Her cutie mark has some fading on both sides, but otherwise I guess she's okay. Point is if I waited I would've had my pick of the litter.

I'm not sure if this would be frowned upon here, but maybe you can buy a better one, put the old one in the package, then return it? Its still the same Pony and still new. The Funkos have a nice mold but the paint jobs vary. I still haven't found a decently painted Spitfire.

As for me. every time nowadays is a bad time. I love Ponies and collect all four gens, but I still live with parents and I have only my bedroom. I have Ponies in boxes in the basement and my room is a shambles. I still want them and still buy them when I can, but I'm gonna have to start storing a lot more for the foreseeable future.

At least when the time comes that I can display them, I won't be too far behind.

Originally I hated the concept of EQG and railed against it. Then an imgur album leaked of some in theater pics of the screen during the climax and I was stunned. My boyfriend and I went up to Albany to see a screening with our friends' Meetup group and I got all excited and teared up when I realized
Spoiler
THEY GAVE US MAGICAL GIRL MANE SIX OMC YAY!!

Since then I'd been eyeing the dolls, but they're not too worth it until they hit clearance IMHO. Especially since they're supposed to be a Monster High rip-off, but the quality just isn't there with this first series.

So far I only have the Celestia pictured above. I got $3 off at a Walmart because her leg came off in-package. I love fixing toys so I didn't mind. Most of us who owned dolls have popped limbs and heads on and off all the time.

Turns out her leg was made of two hard pieces of plastic glued together similar to hard horses, like Barbie horses, and the plug was a softer material that kept bending out of the way. I needed pliers and to crack her leg's seam a bit before I was able to fix her.

I do want Sunset Shimmer because I love her (and she's the next cosplay) but I'm trying to wait for a deal/sale for her and any other of last year's dolls. However, I LOVE TACKY THINGS and will be buying the heck out of these Rainbow Rocks dolls! Ya'll step aside and let Mama Minty have her loud, tacky, brightly colored Jem knock-off! XD

No problem! Just remember most of those rubber clothes come from the Core 7 and that's a good starting point. <3

Not sure about the green thing, but the rest is from Toola Roola's Arts and Crafts set: http://mlp.imagesofher.com/pony.php?ID=9&variant=363

Not sure about the green thing. I have this Finnish language accessory ID site I bookmarked a while back that might help: http://www.horsma.org/Ponien_tavaroiden_tunnistus.htm

Pony Corral / Re: What is the Most Interesting Way You have Gotten a Pony?
« on: February 24, 2014, 07:28:08 PM »
I have a Teeny Tiny Twin Tootsie given to me by an online friend (who sadly fell off my radar a few years back). The story was she had a friend who collects Keypers from the 80s. She found a Keyper horse, and inside its compartment was Tootsie!

The Peachy in my collection is from my ex's basement. She turned up very randomly, in a box he swore he had looked in before and found no Ponies. He knew his sister had Ponies when they were kids.

My boyfriend and I are currently in a Barnes and Nobles right now checking your points. XD

My theory here is that they photographed prototypes, maybe even at Hasbro HQ or an overseas factory. They really should have had a collector proofread this.

I recommend that if you want this, wait until clearance.

I keep saying that Too Many Pinkie Pies is actually a well-thought dissertation on how we collectors feel as a whole rather than a silly episode.
