Who is your favorite Sunny Scent?

Apple Spice. I love her colors and scent. I'm not surprised Lavender Lake has gotten zero votes so far. Her scent was pretty nasty IMHO.

I had a bit of a hard time choosing, as usual, but picked Coconut Grove ^^ (Apple Spice and Citrus Sweetheart are also favourites tho)

I always liked the entire Butterfly Island line.  All those bright colors!  I went with Thistle Whistle.  I always thought she was pretty, and apparently so did Hasbro since she had a few extra releases as a bonus pony.

I think there were two batches of these - one that smelled *strongly*, and one that had a more moderate scent.  When I was doing the G3 hunting thing, I was hunting for a few friends.  The ponies I got at the collectible toy store had a tolerable scent, the ones I got at Target stank to high heavens inside the box.

I'm dealing with an over scented pony issue right now.  I've got two fully scented Perfume Puffs that have been stinking up my closet for years.  There's a 2-3 foot radius of stench with those things no matter how many bags I put them in, and anything within that radius is pretty much permanently scented now.  I finally decided to do something with them.  Six layers of plastic bags weren't enough.  I have finally settled on 6 layers of bags, a small plastic bin that locks closed, and a handful of carbon packets on the outside layer of plastic to hopefully kill any scents that survive the 6 layers of plastic.  We'll see if it works!

In my experience of scented ponies, scent dissipates more if the pony is open to air. I had a Butter Kiss sent in a lot last year and after 2 weeks in transit she had polluted the whole box to the point I had to air the ponies and recycle the box...

I am trying to remember if my Thistle Whistle came from you in one of our trades, goddessofpeep. I think she may have been a local find but I am not sure and her packaging is not accessible. It is interesting how the same set seems to have such different scent levels.

Was Thistle Whistle not popularised by one of the animated specials or am I confusing her? The special with Starcatcher...

I went with the unpopular choice. I choose Lavender Lake. I really like her. I think my second was Thistle whistle.

Yeah, the scent does eventually dissipate if just left out exposed to air.  Unfortunately, the Perfume Puff scent makes me physically ill, so letting them air out isn't an option.  And anyway, the ones I have a *perfect*.  The collector in me winces at the idea of trying to de-scent them.  One of them is Red Roses.

Another friend of mine found the same scent variation between the ponies at different stores.  She's the one that actually called my attention to it!

Taffeta:  From what I remember, almost all the ponies I bought for you were the USA store exclusives.  I don't think I really bought anything for you that was available over there.  There was already enough to buy just sticking to the store exclusives!  Target was *very* busy with the G3s.

None of them, they all smelled so awful!  i do like Thistle Whistle but I wish she wasnt scented.

I remember when these were released. At the time, Citrus Sweetheart, Lavender Lake and Thistle Whistle were the most popular ones.

I don't really have a favourite, I like them all. But Tangerine Sunset would probably be my favourite if she was in a better pose... She is actually very pretty but because of the weird pose she doesn't look good in photos.

I have them all MIB.  Have never been a fan of scented toys, they always smell sickly to me.  But I think that Lavender Lake is the prettiest of this set.

I don't own any of these ponies, so I am not sure how I would feel about the scent. However out of them Citrus Sweetheart was already on my wishlist so I voted for her.

Definitely Citrus Sweetheart! I have quite a collection of customs of her. She's my favorite G3 by far!
