Let's small talk about the weather.
It's supposed to be spring, which usually means monsoon season here. We've only had two storms so far. The temp is higher than it should be, so much so we are breaking records. It's frustrating because it's chilly at night (65F) and most of the day is beautiful (72F) but by late afternoon we are in the upper 80s and it's humid. I have my windows closed to escape from the humidity (and allergies) and I'm trying not to run my AC too often. If the afternoon was a normal temp for this time of year, I'd open the windows.
I keep thinking, if we are breaking heat records in April, what is August going to be like?
-
Our weather has been pretty random this spring. Right now... it's humid, warm and gross. I hope it rains tonight.
-
Today it's been bright and sunny and blazing hot. Been out and about a good bit today and on my last outing today my car said it's 90 degrees. I'm heat sensitive so feeling really heat drained even after a cool shower.
-
We're all going to melt this summer :yikes:
-
I know I melt every summer.

Rain, hail, thunderstorms and around 11 celcius/ 50 fahrenheit during the day and then 4C/39F during nights was not what I expected after a couple of days being above 20C/ 68F. But we have a saying here that April does what April wants :) So not too wacky here just yet, we'll see until we get in May though
-
It was such a beautiful March here. Low to mid 70s throughout the month overall with lots of rain.
April is out for revenge though it seems! The past couple of weeks have had us in the low 90s, but looking at next weeks forecast we’re looking at possibly hitting 100 on Monday! :hot: Normally we don’t see our first 100 degree day here until around May, so looks like the heat is coming early. I’m not ready for it to be hot again….I love the cooler weather.

It was a gorgeous day! Sunny, warm, not too hot...yet! Though the temps here have varied a lot in SoCal--way more than the past few years. It was around 80 degrees Fahrenheit here during the day and it's now in the 50s at night. I'm not looking forward to summer here though I hope my visit to New Zealand (stopover) and Australia in June (summer in northern hemisphere) will be cooler!

It's sunny here right now. It's meant to be a nice weekend. I'm going in the garden later, with any luck :)
Yesterday was also mostly nice. I've been in London/Surrey, and the weather down there was changeable to say the least. There was one thunderstorm and a couple of hailstorms, but also bright sunshine which was lovely to walk in. Not a lot of rain despite the forecast. I managed to walk quite a lot without getting caught in a downpour.
I love walking in the outer zones of London because I can use the bus stops to navigate and not get lost, while still seeing nature :)

The phrase, four seasons in one day, is a Scottish one, & so far spring has been like that here. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it's wet, sometimes it's windy, & sometimes it's all of them!!! Like, how am I supposed to plan days out if I can't tell what the weather will be like in the next hour??? Make your mind up, weather!!!
-
PBW, that sounds like Fall in Texas :D
-
Make your mind up, weather!!!
I could say the same - it's snowing again! :cold:
-
Its very autumnal at the moment!
I swear we have 9 bleak winter months, then 3 months where its mild. Maybe 4 days of summer.
-
The UK weather right now: :cold: :cloud: :brr: :rain: :yikes: it's supposed to be Spring but we've had dull cold days and rain/sleet/hail etc for months and months and a ton of storms.. I think we got 2 weeks of nice weather in 2 years ... . Every weekend is bad apart from last weekend  ( it was sunny for once *faint* but back to normal now though >_< )

Did you move to the UK Loa?! sounds like it!! :P

rain rain rain. i know it will probably be hot and dry in a few weeks so i'm enjoying it.
-
Had 2 big snow storms earlier this month and yesterday it was 80F.
-
It’s getting too hot too fast here in the U.S. southeast. Can’t I have some spring weather? Why go from winter straight to summer? We can’t plant a garden until after April 14th to avoid a risk of frost, but then two weeks later we have temperature highs of 88 degrees Fahrenheit!!! What the heck?
-
Today there was thunder and it got real windy. It rained for like half a minute and then everything was back to being hot and humid. Thunder storms are a normal part of spring here, and we've only had 2 so far.
-
It's the kind of temp where it's too hot with heating on but still a bit too cold with it off. So it's off & if I get cold I'll put on the knitting I've done for myself
-
80 degrees f
-
it's getting hot. today should be 90+F. tomorrow we're supposed to have storms but after that no rain in the forecast. i guess summer is here :( I hate summer weather
-
And the last few days have been 20C & above here, so pretty warm pretty quickly. I've enjoyed some of it, but by heavens I get sweaty quickly & that isn't fun
-
It's been unseasonably cool today and heading into this weekend...I don't mind walking around in the cooler temps of around 60-70 F, but I miss the sunshine and slightly warmer weather. :/

Unusually sunny in my latitudes for the year. It's hot too. Nice if you ask someone in a Northern country where it's mostly rain, snow and cold.

Same here. :hot:
Plus, tourists are starting to flock in and there have been more car accidents.
