Aaaaah! I've been waiting for a bjd for over 4 months now! The company is having some trouble and they said she'd ship around the 25th, but so far still nothing. I have all these clothes and stuff for her, I can't wait!

I had the Salem as a child. In fact I got him for my eighth birthday and he was my favorite gift that year ^^ I would occasionally see the Sabrina doll as a child but never managed to get it. It seems by my ninth birthday she disappeared for good. So this is a doll that's been on the waiting list for 15 years. As I watched the end of the auction I nearly had heart failure, OMG The second I won her (and Salem) I whooped for joy. (Only the original 6 inch Bandai Sailor Moon dolls have been on my list longer- 18 years for all except for Queen Beryl, who I already have (my main priority is on Irwin ATM).)

Still trying to find sig Apple White and Blondie, but I made an interesting discovery with my Zecora and Celestia EQG dolls! I switched the heads on a Celestia with a jointed Rarity that I found at the thrift and got this:

Her being a little more edgy in Zecora's outfit and Ghoulia's glasses. The shoes are Zecora's and are just kind of loosely on Celestia's pegs, but they stay on pretty well for posing! I still wish she had feet, but maybe after they re-release another articulated Rarity

I tried researching head switches from EQG to MH, but wasn't having much luck, so I just gave it a shot putting Zecora's head on Ghoulia's body. The greys of the body and head are an almost exact match, and now I'm thrilled to at last have the perfect Zecora doll!! I really like how her head is more proportional and pretty on the MH body, but now I have to find some more clothes! Does anyone know what lines fit Monster High and which fit EQG's?

Yes, I have quite a few reptiles, actually...the BF and i do educational exotic animal shows where we teach kids about ecology, where certain animals come from, and we answer questions about them it's funny...we have big tarantulas (which noone but me can hold) a huge snake, smaller snakes, lizards, all kinds of weird stuff, but the most popular critter in the show is our ginormous bunny, Bunker! I guess cuteness will always win, but we teach people that in order to have the cute, fuzzy animals like tigers and Pandas you have to conserve the habitatt and ugly animals who live there, too
I got EAH Dexter today, but I'm not sure I'm feeling him...he's nice and all, probably nicer than most of the boy dolls I've seen, I just think I'd rather have an original Apple White :/ I did find a first release Blondie yesterday as well...there's something wayyyy more appealing about this one than the second release...I think it's the bangs and the eyes seem mor human...
