I was able to pick up a double pack of Pokemon Violet and Scarlet brand new from GameStop for $22 for my nephews.  Without my Pro extra 10% off and $5 coupon they would have been $30 as they are currently 75% off.  So, either way it was a good deal.

We had a staff meeting today and by the end of it, the manager said "we have an all time high in bistro sales we'd like to acknowledge and reward" and then she looked at me. I got an orchid an two movie vouchers . I can't stop smiling. That day was awful to work because of all the passengers (a lot of trains were canceled due to track work and mine was the first that day and everybody wanted to get on it) and to get this kind of attention for my work really made it worth it.

the weather is so nice right now. it's sunny and cool with a light breeze. i actually can open the windows again today. it's usually either too hot or too cold to open the windows. or if it is cool enough it's raining. i'm just excited for some nice weather after the brutal summer we had.

On Friday, I went to the store after a long time and the first Christmas decorations were on sale there. They were nice to look at and my mom already bought a few cute decorations there.

On the way home, I saw a shooting star in the sky, it made me smile too.

A cold front came through and I opened my windows for the first time in a while. Aster and I are enjoying the fresh air and breeze (but I admit I am a little chilly in my shorts and tank top - it's 67 degrees right now)

We got the second snow today! The first one fell yesterday but I missed it, being tucked away under blankets on the couch, and it melted away, but I got to see it fall today and it was so beautiful!

I miss snow.

My smile - I was able to shower! My tub has high sides but it's small and I have trouble getting my legs over the side. I can get in if I go backwards, but then I'm afraid I'll fall. So I've been washing up in the sink and using cleansing cloths. It felt great to take a full shower

I also looked out of the window on Thursday morning when it was snowing! I took a short video of it with my phone. During the day, everything had melted, but that's okay, because the cold weather continues and that makes me smile!

BC, great that you were able to take a shower! After that, the feeling is really great! Relaxed and soft.

This is a funny one. I've managed to loose some kg so I tried out a winter coat John got me for christmas a couple of years ago before I gained weight. I still couldn't close it so need to loose a bit more. Instead I took out a coat mom got me when I was in fifth grade and it fitted really well. I was very tiny at that age so I'm not sure what mom thought when she bought it to me, but the fact I can wear it almost 30 years later is funny.

To be fair I've not grown any taller since fifth grade but I'm definitly a lot heavier. My current weight is more like two and a half fifthgraders.

Lucky you! We pre-ordered it and it didn't show up . I posted in Trivial complaints about it. I hope it's as fun as everybody says.


Ninja was bored and instead of scratching on the bedroom door or sitting on a table and push things down he came up to me for some snuggles .

I got the ThreeZero Daenerys figure through the post  She's the basic model and I got her from a FB listing, so I'm very happy, she appears to be MIB! I still need to get the Season 5 figure, and I know there's a Season 7 and Season 1 in the future. Season 7 has been teased, and I've seen photos of Season 1 at a trade show, I cannot wait!!! I didn't have the cash when the first two were out, as soon as Season 7 comes up for pre-order, I'm getting her!!!!
