An actual boy pony... I am in LOVE. Don't think anyone is going to want to do this... but if anyone decides they don't want the male pony - that is the ONLY thing I want from this playset. Whenever it eventually comes out lol. Let me know if you don't want him, I'll pay well for him. <3

Just a guess (more like a wild hope!) but Hasbro's been pretty good this time around (G4) about releasing the major characters like Luna and Celestia separate from huge playsets, and more than once. MAYBE they will have a separate set for Shining Armor and Cadence, for people who don't want the playset?

And I wonder if you can re-hair the Prince if that is troll hair.

Oh, and is it just me or does the male pony look like it has 'troll hair'?  You know, the fur type hair those troll dolls have.

Yeah, you know, it's the sort of hair I imagined the toys would have if they wanted to be styled just like the cartoon, before I took a good look at real My Little Pony toys with their long, thin hair.  But this "prince" pony's tail actually looks longer and fuller in his cartoon image!

Still, I dunno..   I think it is a nice concept, but for me it cheapens the male.   I'll just have to wait and see this in person!

So I was doing my usual mind numbing pony research for anything new and I think I may have come across something exciting... I somehow ended up on a German branding licensing site and searched my little pony and came across these two unusual listings with no pictures... date expected in August 2012...  I also used my handy google translate and ended up with...

Ooo wow!  I absolutely have NO room for the entire playset, but I hope that we can get the Prince and Cadence together as a separate release.  Prince's hair seems off to me too, hopefully it will be better in person!
