Did our taxes today. :accomplished:
Glad to say we didn't give the government a tax free loan last year. :silly:
But my bank account protests the decrease in funds... :drunk: :cloud:
-
Ugh... that reminds me that I have to do my taxes. :drunk:
-
Congrats!.......I think....... Congrats on finishing at least.
-
Taxes are a pain! Glad they are over!
-
Ugg..I do not want to think about doing mine. Oh wait I usually wait till the week there due so I have some time to spare.
-
Cant really start until the final slips come int he mail..which is a good thing because right now the timing is really bad.
-
Yay! I did mine too. Already spent some of the money, heh. I used Turbotax and I'd recommend it to anyone!
-
Got a little longer up here :) another couple weeks before we get our T-whatevers.
-
This year is gonna suuuuck. I have to do taxes for both Quebec and Ontario because of the move, and I just know Quebec is going to be vindictive and charge me through bunghole.
-
Yay well done for getting it done!!

I love TurboTax! I have been using it for years.
-
Eeep! Is that coming up again? :yikes: Good on ya for getting it done, though. :ohyeah:

I actually just picked my forms up from the accountant this past week. The return isn't close to what we would get normally. It's cut in just about 1/2. But I really shouldn't complain cause I'm not paying in :satisfied:
We had wanted to go on a family trip but it looks like just paying down some debt and MAYBE a day trip some place.

This was the first year we had to pay rather than get a refund, but the reason is that last year I reduced our witholdings so that we could bring more of our money home each month and not let the government keep it for free. Instead I got to make interest on it by investing/saving it :accomplished:
We had to pay a little more than I was hoping, but I adjusted our witholdings again so next year it should almost even out. :lovey:
Unless taxes go up... >_< ;
I used Taxact.com out of loyalty. The first year I tried to do my taxes online was a disaster. I tried several different sites and Taxact was the one that finally got me through it. So I will probably use them forever.

Still have to do mine. Thankfully mine will be somewhat easy to do. I really hated last year how I filled out a form online using a service only to find out it wasn't free AT THE END. I had to re-do it with the free, simplified version... just made me mad!

we did ours last week....and needless to say I am NOT happy with my place of employment! I owe almost a grand!
