My friends dad sells antiques and he keeps them in an old house that her family owns. My friend is a photographer and it's sort of my hobby so we used the house for a shoot this week. I found a box of ponies and she asked her dad about them for me and he ended up giving them to me! I offered to pay him something but he just wouldn't have it. When I was a kid I used hair spray on my G2 ponies and when they ended up put up for good it was still on them. I tried washing them, but some of them still have crunchy hair and look kind of shiny? I wouldn't do it unless you used it sparingly.

I was wondering if adding the paper towels adds something special to the curl? I have always done curls without the paper towels and wondered if there were be a different effect if I added paper towels first.
I use towels to keep the ends of the hair in place so they don't get all funky. If they're left out they don't always set right for me, so if you don't have any problems like that I don't see any reason for you to use them

I have a whole bunch of these! I also have a much larger one I don't have pics of right now, but it's like the one that Sapphire-Light posted a picture of, only with a pink saddle. My favorite ones are the glittery ones. I have 2 Party Time's one of them looks regrind free and the other just has some pink on one hoof. You have the Great Spirit Bear "Smokey Mold" missjennicakes, I have that one and the foal that goes with it.
I love the great Spirit models...They were a special series sold at Christmas by JC Penney's
Here's two more shelves with horse and books, sorry for the poor picture quality, it's been busy
I have the foal as well my grandma used to work for JC Penney's and I remember always going through the catalog's for Christmas!! I really want to look into getting some of the breyer's at the antique store now!

I have a small collection of them! I loved them as a kid and all mine are from when I was way younger in the 90's and before I knew they were so collectible. I'm actually pretty glad my mom decided to keep these, along with all my Littlest Pet Shops, Polly Pockets, and My Little Pony toys!
