Goddessofpeep is on point with everything. Hasbro has messed up hard, and the contrast with Mattel's success makes it even more painful.

Being a publicly listed company is a delicate cord to balance on... When the primary focus is on the satisfaction of the stockholders, costs get cut down (both in design and quality) left and right to keep the margin as big as possible. It can be the start of a hard decline, as we now see...

That stranglehold of stockholders is the reason why Hasbro can't possibly do with G1 MLP what Basic Fun is doing; BF doesn't have any stockholders breathing down their neck. They are more free to focus on quality and can afford to be content with a lesser profit margin that keeps to company going, contrary to Hasbro.

What's even worse about Hasbro's current state is that 1100 employees will be sacked because of it.

I wouldn't mind if BF started a brand of pony figures all by itself to fill the pony void; too bad it wouldn't be called MLP, but I'm sure the quality would be much better than whatever Hasbro keeps cooking up.

Why did the UK even go through the process of renaming ponies to begin with? Anyone know? It's so curious.

Going through the costly process of creating poses that only end up being used twice or even just once. (G3 Bath time Sweetsong was such a lovely pose, but we never saw it again.)

Not connecting FairyTails to MLP. It had a lot of potential imo

That's crazy stuff!
I would just contact Hasbro customer service so that they are at least aware of the quality issues, and ask for a replacement. Who knows, can't hurt.

The easiest way to solve the tail problem would be to glue the roots together tightly into a tip small enough to fit the tail hole, and glue it back in place. You wouldn't be able to brush it anymore with pulling the tail out again I'm afraid, but at least she can go on display?

I love the atmosphere that candles create!

As for scented candles; I try them every now and then, but I have yet to find one that doesn't require you to stick your nose in them to get a wiff of the scent they're supposed to fill the room with :/

WISH !!   8.5/10

What a delightful movie, despite it being a bit uneven storywise. Such a wonderful nod to all the disney movies that came before, from the opening to the runtime! So many easter eggs. The music is amazing imo; with "Welcome to Rosas" and "The Wish" being my favorites.

Opinions on the animation style vary, but I liked it a lot. It was supposed to blend the current 3D trend and the handdrawn animation from times gone by, and for me, it worked.

The symbolism behind the wishes could have been explained a little more in depth, but I'm sure a lot of people will get the message.

Hmm there seems to be a decline in new releases for MLP stuff. That is a bit of a worry.

Yeah, it'll be a quiet holiday season for MLP it seems.

Was there a toy fair or something similar this year? I completely forgot.

The comma is Europe's equivalent to the US's dot. Where Americans use a dot, we use a comma :)

Ten thousand: The US writes it as 10,000.00, Europe writes it as 10.000,00

Looks like pony didn't make it? But I don't see any of the others either?

They look great and seem well made. It's the first time I hear of fakie wear. Did this have ponies on the packaging, or just random stuff advertised for whatever toy you felt like?

This makes me think of the paint drying scene in the episode with all the pinkie pies; once the fake pinkies fail the test, they inflate after getting zapped by twilight :)
