I found an obscure POD provider that has a few fun customizable items. I uploaded some of my flutter pony drawings: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe mockups look great, but I'm a little wary, especially about the bag; apparently it's canvas fabric. That's quite coarse, no?

I was casually browsing ebay for G2s when I stumbled upon this playset for a whopping 1452 USD. Not sure what shocks me the most; the price or the fact that the auction actually has followers. Why would some even contemplate this, I always wonder when I see something like this. Yahoo Finance was reporting on the prices of properties rising, but this is just nuts... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy apologies if the seller is here on this board; I'm not looking to turn away potential buyers - I'm just blown away by the price.

I have to start a thread on this!
I was cautiously optimistic about it at first, but these last couple of weeks we've hit with wave after wave of little teasers that really sold it IMO.
Flounder looks a little dead in the eyes and Sebastian looks a little too delicious, but overall I am very excited for this. Halle's voice and the multilayered fluttering tail fins are so enchanting. Jonah Hauer-King makes for a more believable Prince Eric than the singer they were initially chasing (can't remember his name right now)
If anyone one has info on the changes they made to the ending, please don't share it, or hide it well please.

So, Redbubble just introduced a truly horrible "account fee" for artists. On top of their massive margin, they are now going to take a percentage of the artist's commission as well. This can range from a staggering 30% to 50% approximately for the smaller commissions. There are three account tiers: standard, premium and pro. The conditions necessary to meet the premium and pro tier are kept vague; and pretty much the majority of accounts seems to be standard - the only tier affected by the account fee. If you don't make sales, you're not out of pocket; they only charge you if you make a profit. Makes no sense to call it an "account fee" then, does it? Even if you don't have sales, you still have an account that takes up digital space on their servers. It's just crazy. People are closing their accounts, others are just leaving it and not uploading anymore. Their stock has been plummeting for months now, currently at the equivalent of 0.26 USD. I'm guessing they are doing this artist fee thing to up their income? It seems like a terrible solution to their problem IMO. What are you doing? Is it still worth investing time in this? Is it just me or did anyone else also found that G2 playsets at times were very random, even a tad out of place for the overall brand?
My guess is that, once it became a Europe only brand they resorted to simply selecting from white label toys offered by Chinese companies. I came across a Royal Castle once at a store that is the equivalent of the USA's dollar store, definitely identical to G2's, but it was yellow and blue and had less sculpted details. Made me think that was the base for the G2 castle.
And that mansion has to be totally random dollhouse, right?
I'm curious to see pics of identical but non G2 MLP sets, if anyone has them!

Maybe for people who want to wear just a hint of Pony instead of a full-on pony character? I dunno, but I love making these anyway Let me know what you think, and if you maybe have ideas to mix it up? I was thinking of patterns not per pony, but per set of six? F.ex. the six twinkle eyes pattern. * * * UPDATE: I've decided to give it a dedicated store: https://dreamvalleymlp.threadless.com/I'm still milling over the store's name though; keep it simply "Dreamvalley", or maybe "Megan's Closet"? My personal all time favourite so far is the Stripey Sundance! I absolutely adore the FairyTails. If only Hasbro had connected it directly to MLP, giving each pony a twin bird, it could have lasted so much longer IMO. Seemed so obvious.
