I've been gone the last year so this is big news to me. Anyone have pics and details?
Tell me a nirvana story. :) *gets cocoa ready for yet another nirvana spotting story*

The ones we thought may have been from Chile turned out to be from Venezuela instead, and even a few MIB ones have turned up! :frolic:
As for my story, I took a shot in the dark when the Delanys were selling off another collector's ponies for them, and bought a pony unlike any I had ever seen before. The picture was INSANELY blurry, and all I could really tell was that it had magenta and cream colored hair, white body, trotting pose, and was supposedly a Lickety-Split. The Delanys told me she was $50 and since I hadn't gotten my 3rd job at that point, that was a fairly big gamble for me to take, but I'm glad I went for it, since this is who I got~ :lovey: :lovey: :lovey:

I know KKV and Ember1 have also gotten some Venezuelans, and Ember1 and Shelti have MIB ones. I can't remember who snagged some of the unfinished ones off of ebay though. :awake:

Those ponies were sold on ebay by a toy collector who told us they were sold as bisanti ponies and that bisanti was the factory making ponies in venezuela.
He found seven of them, 3 different kinds : blue blossom, green blossom and green firefly. They don't have any holes where the mane should be, and they do have a "squeaker" inside the tail hole (but it doesn't squeak, still wondering what it is supposed to be...)
Color is strange, mixed soap-looking...
Don't know if they are unfinished, prototypes or something else like dog toys lol...

I have a Cherries Jubilee that is yellow with magenta hair. I'm not able to use the direct photobucket link from my phone... not sure if it's on my end or the site, but it's not working for me. I'll upload her pic when I can.
I actually have a second Venezuelan that I bought from a dear friend. I haven't shared her with the community yet, though... :blush:

Yes we do. My belief is that the NC medleys, starshine and licketys we came across many years ago are also venezuelan. The hair texture and body textures match perfectly.
By the way, My MIB Venezuelan Tootsie is currently for sale.

:faint: OMG Ember1, that white Medley is stunning! :lovey:
I know Shellebelle had a blue/green Cherries Jubilee, and there was a white Tootsie (loose) seen years back. There was a Lickety-Split with Posey's colors too, as well as a blue one with coral hair that showed up on ebay a while ago (Ember1 was her owner, but I think she's changed homes recently).

Really i love that Cherries Jubilee. AND I LOVE THAT WHITE MEDLEY! Really, i seed a picture of a nirvana Lickety Split. Is venezuelan, similar than the italian blue Lickety.

Yes that is such a neat color scheme. Both medley and cj look fabulous in it.. I am so biased to yellow ponies haha :)

they are all so pretty! I really like the brightly colored nirvanas out there but alas.. just not in my price range and for the most part I just can't see myself putting so much money down on one pony. Also, nice to see you back BM! :D

They were confirmed to be from Venezuela by a seller on eBay. He sold the unfinished green & blue Blossoms & Fireflys, as well as the yellow CJ I bought. He was an experienced toy collector and first shared the information about their manufacturer & origins. Now that MIB ponies have turned up, that information is more solid. ;)

i don't think there is anything i can add to thise thread :bigups:
all of the ponies that where in the "country unknown" file in the old nirvana gallery are venuzelean though :) including the yellow starshine, "minty blossom" and pink cotton candy with blue hair.
as far as i know they have MC markings, but i have seen one or two with totally flat feet like a mexican pony :)

indeed.. My yellow blossom has no hoof markings whatsoever. They are completely blank and not concave either.

I may have had a brain freeze with Chile (I'm sure it came up at some point), but I think this thread proves the Venuzuelan ones! Some of the unknown ones aren't confirmed as Venuzuela (yet), but strongly suspected! :frolic:

I noticed on an id site there was mention of a green blossom with light pink mane and tail and photo request is also
on the donations thread. Anyone have a picture of this girl? Have not seen her.
