My uncle, aunt, and cousin came over for Christmas, unfortunately they were sick. But enjoyed the dinner we cooked up.

My family don't really exchange gifts as it gets overwhelming for several family members.  We all got together for a big dinner and everyone made treats.  But, my brother and I exchanged gifts.  He bought me a Breyer horse and I got him some Nikes for his collection.

My husband and I exchanged cards and I love the card he got me.

we don't really exchange gifts either. my husband and i used to but now we usually buy something close to the holidays and consider it a christmas gift. this year we pretty much just bought clothes around the fall. if i don't just buy clothes for my husband he'll keep wearing the same thing even if there are holes. i got him some winter clothes for his birthday/christmas. his birthday is in November. I got some clothes and a bracelet.

for my parents i sent them an Amazon gift card. i know it's impersonal but it's what they like. my dad can buy stuff off his list. i don't usually buy anything else unless there's something i know one of them wants and will never buy for themselves. we used to get them electronics but they don't need anything else right now. they just give us some money and a centerpiece for the dining table.

i also bought presents for the dogs this year. Chloe got some sweaters. and Luna and Jessie got some squeaky toys. i even wrapped them this year because i'm becoming a crazy dog lady. the dogs were not impressed with the wrapping paper but they love their new stuff.

What I got for myself:

- So many things lol! One thing I ordered was a limited edition figure that won't come out until March so I have that to look forward to.

What I received from work Secret Santa:

- A 3D printed model of my favourite band's logo, it's SO AMAZING!!! I also got teeny nanoblock-like building kits like my birdies 

From my neighbour:

- Treats for my birdies, and some chocolates and cheese/sausage/crackers for me!

From my family:

- A Pokémon cuddly toy (I ordered, they paid as I do all their online shopping, it's direct from Japan and pretty rare merch is made for it so I'm happy, she's super-soft!
- A suncatcher shaped like an owl, I just need some sun to show it off!
- One more thing as a surprise I need to wait and get

From my work friend:

- Hotel Chocolat chocolates, lovely!!

I have that cutlery set too!! Not exactly the same obviously, but as soon as I saw it I went I NEED that for my house. I also have knives that are the same titanium coating, I missed the chance to get things like a tin opener and stuff of that design that I'm kicking myself over

My mom gave me a lovely cutting/charcuterie board, and I also wrapped up my prize from the Anniversary Scavenger Hunt on our lovely MLP Arena because I didn't expect to get anything on Xmas day.

I got an amazing haul this year! I got a little green steam cleaner, a cute camping shirt, some fuzzy socks, an assortment of bath bombs and spa items, a gift certificate for the nail shop, and some candles. Oh, and ponies of course haha!

I’m especially pumped about the little green cleaner. My sister got one a coup,e years ago and I’m borrowing it all the time, it cleans so well! I’m going to do a deep clean of my rigs and furniture on my next day off!

I won a purple crossword pen in the christmas game .

The game is pretty simple and usually done by adults. Everyone buy a number of presents within a theme, a fixed sum of money or both. On christmas every present goes in a pile and then we roll the dices. Getting a six or 1 let you to take a present from the pile. When every present is claimed, you put on a timer and then you have to get a one or six and when you do steal a present from someone else. When the time is up what you you have is what you got. You open the presents. In some families, you start a new timer and try to steal what you want of the others' opened gifts. We skipped this part this year.


So I won a pen, lol. I'm big on crosswords and sudoku and I love the ink pens you can erase so I'm pretty happy.

My work friends got me a laser kitty blanket, an adult coloring book, a crystal set, and some teacher supplies along with fudge

My girlfriend got me a Sailor Uranus dice tray and a set of sailor Scout socks along with some goat socks. She also got us both some new tabletop games, and I got a heat gun, dremel, and a few other tools for my cosplay building.

My folks gave me loot (£150), my box-exchange pal gave me Near & Deer the HQG1C among other wee bits, my coffee pal gave me some food, including chocolate ginger biccies & coffee beans, I got some Toffifees from the Boxing Day meal, & another pal got me a cute straw deer decoration. All either loved or needed or both. (let's not forget the hotplate either as that's also kind of a prezzie).

I've yet to receive my Arena prize, but it has to go halfway round the world so I'm giving it time...

My sister gave me pearly blossom and cotton candy set with the little glory. They are sitting on my desk right now, I haven't managed to get Glory out of the box without destroying it so far.

I also got a cushion support for when I'm writing, some books, a dvd, a unicorn puppet (my Dad has a sense of humour, hee), a new duvet set (also unicorn themed!)...and some money from my uncle.

Oh yes. Also my first JH Rainbow High doll, Laurel De'Vious. I don't usually ask for these as they are expensive, but the twins were both on sale here recently, so I put them on my list. Not surprised I got Laurel given her colour scheme - Dad is big on red/yellow/orange shades!
