So Soft Twilight

Has anyone else ever been so completely certain you had a certain pony, only to look through your collection and realise that after all that time searching, browsing and bidding for them you didn’t actually ever end up with them?

This is me right now with So Soft Twilight. Which is devastating because 15 years ago when I was trying to buy her she was so much more affordable 😭😭😭

Side note: if anyone wants to share some So Soft Twilight love and post pictures of her I would MELT with happiness.

Agh yes, and why is there always one in a set that seems impossible to find in nice condition and for a fair price? *sigh*

Here's a pic of mine.  The photo makes her hair look much pinker than it really is but it's still a nice shade of pink.

SS Twilight is a special pony to me.  She is one of the ponies that my grandma bought for me when I was young.  My grandma also bought me other ponies including the Birthday Party set and Sugarberry/Strawberry Fair but for some reason she wouldn't let me take SS Twilight home and said I had to keep her at grandma's house. Years later when I was in my adulthood I saw her and said that I would get her "next time"  The next time I went she was gone. I'm pretty sure that my aunt tossed her or gave her away because my aunt said she got rid of "a bunch of old toys" that my grandparents had after they died.   Several years later I was able to get another SS Twilight at a reasonable price.  I don't have many nice memories of my grandma but I will always think of her when I see  SS Twilight.

To me it's her portrayal in Flight to the Cloud Castle, she had such a cute voice and it always fascinated me how she appears in this single episode and nowhere else, I remember how I first saw the episode when I was already an adult and I was like "Who the heck are you?"

After not looking at my childhood collection in a long time, I always thought I had Up Up and Away. But it must have been Floater I was thinking of because I have her and NOT UUAA. I have no idea why I would confuse the two; besides having balloon symbols they don't look alike, aren't the same species, and don't have the same gimmick. Weird...

I’ve actually bought UUAA twice and because I thought I didn’t have her! She might be a chameleon pony....

Shes a very pretty pony. I was able to find her in the wild with nice flocking and I still dont know how I do it.
