My boyfriend got me a license-free car for Xmas. Look how diddy she is!!!

I want to turn her into my fave Pony character: Surprise.
My boyfriend is gonna paint the car pearly white, i will put wings decals on the front door, the balloons cutie mark on the back doors, paint the roof neon yellow and add a decal of a tail on the back doors.
But as for the inside, what you think?
I was thinking maybe getting a funko pop :muffin: Pony for the dashboard, as she got hair the right color, and repaint her white, (changing the eyes), and cutie mark, what you think?
But for the rest of the inside decoration, i draw a blank..
Anyone has Surprise-inspired merchandising?

That idea is so cool! You could have neon yellow pom-poms hanging around the car. Maybe some glittery purple balloons?

I would probably just paint the car the color of the pony and put the symbol on the right and left rear side of the car. I guess I am a more simple minded decorator, but here people pull stuff off of art cars a lot. Ugg I always wanted to do an art car. They are super fun. Show us photos when you are done.

Im not the only one who wants to make the car look fabulous! I have no idea what you could do,but go and make it the only surprise car in town!

First of all, that's a nice car! What is it?
Secondly, why not decorate the inside of the car the way Surprise would if she owned it personally? I'm thinking streamers, ribbons, a (fake for obvious reasons) cake, maybe some balloons... Like a surprise party inside a car. That's pretty surprising, don't you think? ;)

It is a car that you can drive without a driving license. Called microcar, they cannot go faster than 50km/h.
Just perfect for me, as i don't have a license and i'm afraid of speed :)

As the perler beads are a tad bit too big for the rear view mirror, i think i'm gonna glue it in the middle of the steering wheel in fact :)

I should have been clearer - I meant what is the make & model of car? Who makes it? I've never seen one, they're not available in my country, and I'm curious. I'm familiar with microcars, just not this particular one.
Also, one other idea for an accessory: a mini disco ball to hang from the car's rearview mirror. I picked one up years ago, so I know they exist.

That's one of the awesome things about France! You can drive without a license in the microcars. I'd be too scared I'd end up on a tollway with people zipping along doing 130km/h!

Not a chance to happen where I live.
I'm deep in the countryside.
And tollways are clearly indicated. We even avoid them with our regular car.... Too bloody expensive, and scenery is far more interesting on the small roads anyway (max speed being 80/90 km/h there).

The French countryside is truly beautiful!! We did manage to accidentally end up on a toll road coming out of Paris (so many roads!) but in saying that it was only our 2nd day in France, it was still dark, you guys drive on the opposite side of the road to us, and neither of us had ever been there before... we were headed towards Bordeaux. We have friends living in Le Fleix, and we had no idea that the sun didn't rise anywhere near as early in France as it does in Australia at that time of year... so we set off thinking the sun would be up before we left Paris... but we were halfway to Bordeaux before we saw the sunrise!
That said I love the idea of ponifying a car! I'd get those fluffy seat covers, I wonder if they come in like a glittery purple?! I'd style the interior either bright yellow or purple for Surprise. It sounds like so much fun!

Just made the perler beads Surprise. Most of the work will be done after the painting of the car, and we will do that in spring. As we'll do it ourselves, we need a good weather and less humidity. :)
But I take all the ideas in :)

Which smell would you associate with Surprise?

Cake! If my memory provides correct information, I think she surprised someone with a cake in the cartoon.
