Is it terrible that I guffawed when I saw this person's username? I hope she doesn't leave you a negative, you certainly don't deserve it. You described everything correctly in the listing and you tried to accommodate this woman, and she was still pushy and rude and attempted to intimidate you. So not ok.

In all seriousness I would contact ebay by phone.  I would explain this women picked it up in person, so she knew exactly what she was getting.  It's not like she couldn't have told you right then and there that she didn't want it if the roof was such an issue for her.  And explain the feedback extortion issue.  I have found things get solved faster if you call and not email them.

This whole story is so horrible. I guess buyers like this is why most people do not allow pickups any more.

I looked at right1sttimes leaving feedback history and I could not find the negative though? Has ebay removed it?

hooray! ebay agreed that the woman was in the wrong and have removed her feedback

this is what i got back from customer support:
"Hello Katie,

Thank you for writing to us regarding the feedback you received from your buyer "right1sttime". I understand you'd like this removed as you clearly described on your listing that the roof is faded and agreed to the discount so allow me to look into this.

I checked your account and I'm happy to inform you that the Feedback you identified fits one of our Feedback removal criteria, we have removed it.

Please note that our decision to remove the Feedback does not constitute us finding that the identified Feedback is defamatory or otherwise unlawful.

As you're a seller you would have received Detailed Seller Ratings as part of this buyer's feedback, please bear in mind that these will also be removed and your scores will be recalculated.

It may take a few hours for the Feedback to disappear from the website as this requires input from our technical team.
