Another question - this time about a baby dish

I've got a baby dish which has the hearts painted around the outside.  They are silver.


Is this usual? I've never seen one like it before...

Other than the hearts it looks the same as any other baby dish (i.e. three segments).

I'm not convinced they are custom painted because the painting is super neat and only on the 'face' of the hearts if that makes sense i.e no paint at all on the sides of the hearts or dripped on the dish inbetween etc.

None of the domestic release baby dishes have paint along the edge - so it's either custom, or a foreign release.

If someone had enough time and a steady hand, I would say MLP dish that someone painted as well.

Are there any other markings on it, maybe on the bottom?

perhaps it comes with the Argentina 'First Food babies' -primera comida .... heres a pic, but I can't see the sides of the bowl :/

Good point partypony, I think I'll drop a line in the nirvana forum just in case.

The more I look at it, the more 'factory' it seems. I really don't think someone could paint that neat. It is super exact with no mistakes at all.

No other markings on it. 

Just remembered I got it at the same time as the german 'reverse' rattle so I wonder if that is a lead...

OH- Hasbro made these ugly little baby dolls around the same time as ponies were made. They came with MLP style accessories. Princess hats with pom-pom's, the same tiny bottles the teenie tiny set came with, and a few other bits. I'm betting it came with one of those.

The Love A Bye Babies? No its not one of theirs as far as I can see from the one HB catalogue that they appeared in. I agree it is probably another random HB brand - you ll probably have much more luck over at ghostofthedoll
