Thanks everyone! I'll try some acid free tissue paper, I'm not sure about plastic wrap as I know that cutting off ventilation with plastic causes some materials to sweat/get sticky over time. I do also have a purple Chap Mei with red accessories who had stains when I got her, so the red is definitely riskier.

How long exactly is it safe to display a pony with a saddle/headgear/etc without risking saddle sores? Is it something that only happens after several years? Is there a safe vs unsafe way to display them, like what if I put a bit of tissue in between the pony and the accessory? The pony in question (hope it's ok to discuss if she's a fakie), who looks WAY better with her accessories than without:

I feel like if you're just going to condition there shouldn't be a problem, I've had pony factory curls still remain after conditioning and combing so long as I set it back afterward. but maybe if you're worried you could try it on just a little bit at the base of the head?

I dont actively collect g4 because i feel the fact that most toys are based around only 6 characters is not fun! I prefer older gens because they're just so much more collectible you know?

i really want one, i literally dress like Suki every day lol! I love jfashion and even tho some of these representations are not the most *accurate* (especially the ones that try to do lolita fashion rip) theyre still super cute i was really excited to see something like that at Target the only complaint i have is the eyes are a little dead-looking.... ;; i wonder how difficult theyd be to replace?
