It looks like gameloft has lowered the prices on a couple of ponies!

Sweetie Belle now costs 30 gems (she used to cost 75), and Rarity now costs 70 gems (she used to cost 90).

They changed some decor items from gem bought to bit bought too. Royal guard statue, ice sculpture, and large clock tower. I believe those are all used for quests.

I am logging in just to send chests to some of my new friends-  but haven't actually played or done anything in this game for weeks-  there are no new updates, no new decorations, no new games-    the game gets rather dull fast when you realize you will never get any of the expensive ponies unless you play straight for 3 years...

EVERYPONY! They've just released a major update! There's new Ponies, Christmas decorations - and most importantly - a fix for your friends list so that everyone shows up!

Downloaded new update, but I seriously don't think it'll help much. I'm already at the point where I need Rarity on both iPads, and she still costs too much.

My interest and patience in the game has already worn thin.

Yup, I'm still needing Rarity to get anywhere too.  I'm mostly just spending my bits right now to move my town around and remove all the nasty stuff. Cute winter theme though!

Haha I started over AGAIN after I got stuck at Fancy Pants. The update is so adorable! I literally squealed when I saw Pony hiding in a present.

It looks like it's slightly easier to get gems now. Parasprites will occasionally drop them! Also, you can watch a few videos a day to get free gems!

Could someone let me know if you can still time travel after updating to the new version? I want to know if they patched that or not...

I time traveled a little from Jan 19, 2012 to Feb 4, 2012 after the patch but then it stopped giving me dailies after that. Not sure if I have to bring it to present for it to work again. Otherwise everything else works the way it did before.
