I was really surprised when I saw it too. I know Hasbro owns Littlest Pet Shop and MLP but I was like "Hey, that's Applejack!"

MLP and LPS are both Hasbro brands, but personally I think it was there as a reference to the fact that both Blythe and Applejack has the same voice actress.
