CMC is up on Hot TopiC's site, but the site is having major technical difficulties as I'm writing this, so I can't buy them (yet anyway). I hope they'll fix their site soon.
EDIT:
Site started to work and I bought my CMC. Also bought another Shining Armor. Maybe third time is a charm and I'll finally get the regular version of SA.

I'm planning on doing a simple g4 themed cake this year for my birthday (in few couple of weeks). Last year I did a Minty inspired pink cake with minty green mint flavored frosting. It also had mint candies as decoration.

I want her and hopefully some day I'll get one. She one of my personal holy grail G1 ponies. There was one on Ebay like a week ago, which I was bidding for, but someone had deeper pockets or was more comfortable spending that much on a pony than I did.

I was born in -82, so I had some exposure to ponies as a child, even if it was pretty limited. When I started to watch the current TV-series (Jan 2012), I had no idea MLP had survived the 80's or that there were G2 and G3. There was no internet and after there was, I wasn't interested on ponies enough (or at all) to find out if the brand is still around, until I became interested of G4 and really got into ponies.
While in general I find the subject of history very boring, I'm very fascinated about the history of things I really like. Also if you hang around this forum and there is even a small chance you'll become at all interested the past generation, it'll happen sooner or later.
With G4 I've always preferred cartoon accuracy and brushables just didn't deliver. Also I'n not one of those, who likes to style ponies hair that much. But then out of self interest and nostalgia, I decided to get G1 pony. Then I realized, I don't dislike brushable ponies just G4-ones, which are very lackluster, small and boring looking compared to G1. This was the point, when I decided to have at least one pony from G2 and G3 too.
At the moment I'm slowly collecting G1 and in some extent G3. G2 I find too unappealing looking for myself, so not collecting those.
