I completed my first two customs!
Curly Flock and TAF Big Brother Holiday pony.
I didn't want to cut his hair, but his character art has shorter, boyish hair. His eyes are supposed to be green, but I didn't want to mess up his original eyes. I couldn't get donor wings to match, so the white doesn't match, but I'm happy. And I made him his custom holiday bandana!!!

She is supposed to be a twinkle-eyed pony, but I think I’m not up for trying that yet. Not satisfied with my curls, but I’m happy for a first try. I couldn’t fit all three of her sheep on each side, as I can’t paint that small, so she lost one. What do you think? Thanks to HQG1C for making blanks and new ponies!

Oh my goodness she's so cute. I love the colour combo and the sheep symbol!
-
She's adorable!!! And you got her dye spot on!!! I love her xxx
All she needs is her own crook & a sheep (I want a sheep for one of my Customs too)
-
Oooh she's gorgeous! You have a real knack for designing "Hasbro style" ponies, I could so see her as a "real" G1 (if that makes sense) :D She fits right in. Love her symbol and omg those curls <3
-
Ponybookworm, I was going to pose her with the lamb from Wooly and Fleecy set, but when I went to get my camera I forgot to grab her!
-
She looks great! I love her theme and pose and her symbol looks like a real G1 symbol-style. Great job!!
-
Sooo cute!! I LOVE her symbol! Such pretty colors, too.
-
She looks amazing! Everything comes together so well!!
-
She's beautiful! The colors look sweet, and I love her symbol. Little sheeps...
The rearing pose makes me think she's an active herdspony, running along the hills with her flock. And perhaps trying to track down the lost sheep from her cutie mark.
-
:wow: Wow! She is really beautiful and funny! Wonderful little sheep in the symbol!
Have you glued it to a plastic base? Or is it a glass plate?
-
Oh Gator, she's so cute! I love the sheep and crook.
-
Heart Of Midnight she’s on one of the repro rearing pose stands from HQG1C.

You did amazing for a first custom! She looks like a real G1.

She's gorgeous! Love those hair colors with the yellow body. The sheep are so cute too
-
I LOVE those colors for the hair!! What a fun design!! This is amazing for a first custom, your paintwork is so smooth. :lovey:
-
Oh, I love her hair colors, and I agree that she does look like a real G1 pony design! Her symbol looks perfect. It is cool to see a rearing pose custom, I feel like they are pretty rare.

That’s super cute! 🐑
-
Bump to add new character.
Also, does anyone know why my photos disappear after a few days?
-
OMG, they are both so, so beautiful!! You did such wonderful work on them!
-
What photo host are you using, Gator?
Your holiday boy is great! Your painting is so good on the tiny holly. He looks factory :D
-
I love the holiday boy there Gator!!! I know Pink Kittywinks sells bandannas in the UK, perhaps, if you make more like that one, you can sell for the US market???
-
They look fantastic! Very nice work!
-
Wonderful job on both of them! I particularly love the holiday pony, such an elegant design ^.^ And Curly Flock has an adorable symbol  Both of them look like they could be genuine Hasbro designs.
-
He's handsome Gator.
-
Your painting is so crisp and clean. I love the holiday themed boy. I didn't notice the wings were off at all.
Love the sheep girl too. So pretty.
Incredible job for firsties.
-
Ahh, the xmas boy is so lovely! I love winter/holiday ponies, and boy ponies, and it's so great to see more non-Earth boys! :D
-
Wow, I love both of these customs so much. They're so clean!
-
They look so professionally done! I'm not sure which I like more. They are both gorgeous. Great job on your first customs!
-
Just saw your boy. I would have went crazy over him as a kid, still would to be honest. He'd look great with the other holiday G1s.
-
These are awesome! That tiny detail work on the cutie marks is so hard to get right!
-
Oh I didn't see the update with the holiday boy, he's sooo pretty! That delicate paintwork turned out great. And you have such a good eye for color schemes, both of them have really pleasing color combos imho.
-
They are both so cute - well done!
-
I absolutely love these
