Minty is my favourite g3 pony, but for this set, I have to pick Kimono. I love that version of her :lovey:

Off Topic / Re: Do you have any New Year resolutions?
« on: January 02, 2025, 02:31:19 AM »
I also don't really do resolutions, but I have goals. Like Taffeta says, though, they're not specific for the new year ^^'
But, I want to work on my physical health more. (exercise outside of my weekly riding, and also get some things looked at) I want to feel better physically.
And I want to put in even more work and effort with my YouTube and finally also stationery shop. I'm finally at a place where I can start looking at actually working with it, after being on full sick leave since 2014, and I am *excited* for what this year will bring!

My website https://mlpland.com/?l=2 is super outdated and filled with errors. On the background I've been working with someone to create a new MLP Land, but due to personal issues it's taking ages to finish it

omg I thought this website was gone!in my early days of collecting I used to spend so many hours just looking at all the g3s on your website :lovey:

for the record, while magic erasers don't help with these spots, they're safe to use on ponies :) Just be careful with eyes, symbols and blush! :lovey:

Off Topic / Re: What did you do for Halloween?

I livestreamed! No dressing up or anything, but I did decorate a little with spooky tinsel and jack-o-lantern fairy lights. I crocheted a halloween snail on stream :)
(and before that, I was mostly lounging around all day nursing a migraine xD )

I hope one of them works! (or both, in a blend :D but that wouldn't be 100% accurate regardless, just very pretty )
Chances are her exact match is a material other than Nylon hair, seeing as it's disintegrating. I think Polypropylene is more prone to that than nylon, iirc?

dollyhair's passionfruit looks close, but maybe a little dark?

The tinge of yellow could be nicotine stains, and I second BC's suggestions for the smell removal!
It's hard to know what the grey is in the photo, is it more of a pindot situation, or an even grey discolouration? And what did you use to scrub? I find melamin sponges to work really well on all kinds of stubborn dirt. :frolic:

I actually did use melamine sponges on her, it definitely did something as the sponges were dirty after but she still looked rough. It doesn't appear to be pindot, that's full body discoloration.

Ahh, I see. then I think your best bet is following BC's advice :) I hope it works!

Aw, sometimes that has to be done, unfortunately. Are you planning on rehairing her? :)

adorable! great job on the paintjob, and the ribbon is such a nice touch <3

Aw, someone wanted to tame her flyaways :silly:
I would also try something like rubbing alcohol for that. Have you tried peeling it off her back? Some clear glue will peel off plastic easily. I would be carful peeling it from the hair, as it might damage it. Good luck with it :)

Off Topic / Re: Fast Food
« on: August 19, 2024, 02:02:59 AM »
We eat at McDonald's occasionally (we live 5min walking distance from one), and every now and then we order pizza. Mostly, we (SO+me, not swedes in general) cook our fast food ourselves (burger+oven fries, or home made pizzas, or tacos) . it's very expensive to buy fast food here, so we just have it as a rare treat as we can't really afford it.
My top choice for going out to eat tho is sushi. A good sushi is about the same price as fast food, so unless I'm absolutely craving a burger, I'd rather go for sushi.

We don't have stuff like Arby's, Wendy's and such here, so I've never tried that. We have BK, McD and a Swedish chain called Max for regular burgers, and then B/stard Burgers, Bores and Brödernas for more "craft" style burgers (we never go to these, very expensive).
We do have american style pizza places, but we prefer the thin crust "swedish" pizzas. Too much bread for me in a deep dish pizza ^^'
I do love pineapple on pizza, but you won't ever see me order the infamous swedish banana+curry pizza. ew xD
We do have some KFCs in Sweden now, but I am always scared to eat chicken unless I cooked it myself, so I've never tried it.
