I came across my girl that has been packed away in forever and I was wondering what her current price might be. I'm digging through my collection to sell, so I will have some of these oddballs that I completely forgot I had. Any ideas? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

Intetested in steamer and wigwam. Also chief, 4speed and barnacle if they become available
Right now only 4 Speed and Chief are on hold. Do you want me to look at shipping possibilities for the other three?

I'm getting more organized for selling my personal collection and I wanted to start a new post to get a fresh start. I will still have my other available ponies listed at some point from https://mlparena.com/index.php?topic=391578.0, although I'm starting with mine first. My ponies are G1, and my original childhood ponies have their back cards and most, if not all, accessories, so you get what you see in the pictures. I'm still sorting ribbons and brushes/combs, so if someone is pictured without something, let me know what is missing and I'll see if I can find it. Brothers and babies are first, as I already have them organized. I have tons more to go through, so patience! More pictures available upon request. I tried to just get the basic overview and I'm working on adding details as I go. Also, PLEASE email me at [email protected] if you post here and don't get a reply back!! I don't always get my notifications that I've had replies and I feel bad when people sit and wait long periods of time for an answer. Big Brother Ponies Spoiler Salty--OK, more trimmed hair. Apparently I thought the boys needed to look a little more "boyish" and shouldn't have floofy hair! His body is great and clean, his head may be a smidge darker in color and there is a very faint bruise spot starting by his right cheek (and I mean very faint, as I didn't see it until he was in direct sun). Symbols and eyes look good. $95.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSlugger--Again with the cut hair! I swear I have no memory of this! It's still super cute being curly, but it is undeniably short. Body is fairly clean with minimal marks; however he unfortunately does have some spots of regrind popping up, most notably on his chest, right side of his neck, between his rear legs and on both rear leg/hooves. Symbols and eyes all look good. $80.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSteamer--Very beautiful pink hair and uncut! Body is clean, but does have a few spots of regind starting, on his chest, inside of rear left leg, back of rear right leg and bottom of front left leg. Eyes look good, very small rub to left symbol, right one looks good. $85.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginTex-- I found his back card, so apparently he was mine, does have mane/tail cut. Body is clean and I don't see any marks or discolorations on him. Eyes and symbols look good. $50.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Cotton Candy--hair looks uncut and is still a gorgeous pink, body is clean with no obvious marks or discolorations, eyes look good, left symbol is great, right symbol has one dot of random paint in her symbol (probably factory error). $50.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Firefly--hair looks uncut and is still silky, body is clean with no obvious marks or discolorations, she does have some glue residue over her right eye and her neck on the right side looks pushed in a tiny bit, so you can see the ridge of plastic on the inside of the mold (sounds worse than it is. I think she was just on her side and something pushed into her neck to shift the position of the neck seam), right eye looks good, left eye has a tiny spot of paint chipped, both symbols have a small amount of glitter rub. $45.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login Baby Glory--hair looks uncut and is still silky, body is clean with the only mark I can see being a blue spot on her right cheek, she may have a tiny bit of glue discoloration around her neck seam, her eyes and symbols all look great. Playpen has one peg broken on one side, so it doesn't stay together too well on it's own. $50.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Gusty--hair looks uncut and is still silky, body is very clean with no obvious marks, eyes have no rust and symbols look great. $60.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Heart Throb--hair looks uncut, body is clean with no obvious marks or discolorations, eyes have no rust and symbols look great. $60.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Lickety Split--Beautiful pink hair, there are a couple shorter hairs in her tail, but no major cuts are obvious, body is clean with no obvious marks or discoloration, eyes have no rust and symbols look great. $60.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Lofty--hair looks uncut, body is clean with no obvious marks or discolorations, eyes have no rust and symbols look great. $60.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Moondancer--hair looks uncut and is silky, body is clean and still fairly white, although she does have some glue discoloration around her neck and some glue residue on the front of her neck, partway to her cheeks, eyes look good, left symbols is good, right symbol has a tiny bit of bleeding into her body. $50.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Ribbon--hair looks uncut and is still very silky, her body is clean with no marks, although she does have a stain on her right neck from her hair, so there is a yellowing discoloration around her neck seam, eyes have no rust and symbols look great. $60.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Shady--hair looks uncut and still has some factory curl, body is clean with no marks or discoloration spots, eyes have no rust and symbols look great. $60.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBaby Surprise--hair may have had a tiny trim, body is fairly clean with no major marks or spots, although it does have some small brown spots on neck and the body isn't bright white anymore (she might lighten in sunlight), eyes look good and both symbols have some bleeding of the string color into her body while the left symbol also has a tiny bit of glitter rub at the bottom of the balloon. $45.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login1st set Rainbow Ponies Spoiler Moonstone--Body looks great without any noticeable discolorations or spots, although she may have some very minor surface dirt. Her hair looks uncut and is still soft and silky. Her symbols are absolutely gorgeous! The glitter is all there and very vibrant and sparkly (I learned after playing with Sunlight and treated the glitter symbols very gently!). She's a beautiful addition to any collection and I will miss her...she's one of my favorites! $ visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginParasol--Body looks good and is still a very nice pink, there do appear to be a couple very light spots on her left shoulder/neck and very light playwear around her hoof edges. Her hair is still nice and silky and looks uncut. Symbols on her right side are very distinct and vibrant and the symbols on her left side are a little lighter with minimal glitter loss. She looks great and even though she's a "common" pony, she's still a very beautiful addition to the herd. $ visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSkydancer--Body looks good overall, her head may be a tiny bit darker than her body, she does have a few very light age spots on her chest, front left leg, left shoulder and rear right leg and a dot by her right wing. Her hair looks uncut and is still silky. The symbols on her right show some glitter loss/rubbing closest to her wing while the symbol on her left has some very minor glitter loss to the bottom two birds. Overall she still looks great and displays well (I'm not sure if her front leg is bend in a little from being in storage, but she still stands well.) $ visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginStarshine--Still very white, although her head looks a touch whiter in direct light, there are a couple very light, very minimal spots on her, one on her back and one on her rear left leg. There may be a couple more, but they are very tough to see except in direct natural daylight. Her hair looks uncut, although I did have a braid in her mane, which is where the kinky curl comes from. I haven't tried to straighten it in any way and I suspect the hair gurus can fix it in a flash. Her symbols do have some glitter loss around the outer edges, so the dots and tips of the star in a couple places on both sides. It looks like some minimal symbol bleeding into the plastic, giving a little bit of a discolored tint. Overall she's still very beautiful and displays well. I did play with her, so she has seen some pony play love! $ visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSunlight--This poor girl...she was one of my first ponies and she was well loved and played with! For the most part her body is clean and head and body still match; however she does have a couple age spots under her left cheek by the neck bend, there is a faint pink "line" along her neck right there as well (no idea what from) and she has very minor signs of playwear on ears and hoof edges. Now, this girl LOVED to play in the waterfall, so as such...her symbol *sigh* needs some love. I would say her symbol is about 80% gone on her left side, and about 65% gone on her right. You can still see them, but glitter is mostly gone. I have no art skills so I have never tried to fix them, but I know there are you artistic types that can slap that on in 5 seconds and she'll look brand new! $ visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginWindy--Body looks very clean and I don't see any spots or marks, although there is a very tiny "nick" by her right symbol that you can feel when you rub it (might be an easy fix). Hair looks good, uncut and still soft and silky. Symbols are really good, with the left looking almost perfect and the right has some very minor glitter loss at the top of the top two wind swirls (I remember this being from the factory, so I think she's been that way the whole time I've had her). She displays beautifully and stands correctly. $ visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login2nd set Rainbow Ponies Spoiler Confetti--coming soon
Pinwheel--coming soon
Starflower--coming soon
Tickle--Body looks good overall, with no major spots or discolorations, there is a spot on her front left shoulder that might be the florescent color that transferred over the years in storage, as well as between her hind legs, and she has one tiny dot on the back of her front left leg. Hair looks good and uncut. Symbols do have some glitter loss, although it's about equal on both sides so it still looks ok (these symbols were so delicate to begin with that having the paint really is the main part you see). She displays great and is a beautiful example to add to the herd. $
Trickles--coming soon
Other Spoiler Dainty--perfect just off card. I opened her when I got her, but just displayed her. Hair is original style, never brushed out or ribbon re-tied. $65.00 visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

Mine that I have for sale loose, no accessories, I have priced for $45 (better hair). MIB might be the harder to price, but loose that sounds about right for a "realistic" price.

Thanks, that helps. I honestly don't remember all the info from back in the day, and of course we were still trying to find all the variants and other country releases. I wish I could remember where I got this girl, but I'm pretty sure it was an overseas transaction. It's always fun finding new things in my old stashes.

I know there are a few different versions of Megan, as indicated by which Sundance she came with. I remember back when we were just getting started with internet sales and the foreign markets became a thing we could get excited about due to the new versions and characters we could find. Regarding Megan, I know the UK version had a pretty outfit with the apron over the main outfit and the ones I have seen are decorated with bows. I have a very vague memory of a German version of her, Annabelle?, that was similar but her outfit is just a bit different. I'm trying to place if I'm remembering that correctly or not. My Megan (which I got from back in those days and probably got fairly reasonably priced) has the basic UK outfit but her apron has flowers and butterflies on it. Everything looks authentic and I know I didn't make anything for her. Does anyone else remember something along those lines? This would've been close to 20 years ago at this point, and I didn't make any notes to include with her to give me any further information to go on. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I moved away from eBay because of fees, too. It's just not worth trying to sell individual ponies there anymore, and lots, well, you don't get top dollar. Most people seem to be moving towards the social media platforms, but I really don't see those as any better. I've been trying to sell some Webkinz I have and that is a whole ordeal. Limits on when you can list in a group, then trying to keep up with messages in the first 4 minutes after you list, then trying to keep a posting relevant when it gets bumped down the next day. It's worse than pulling teeth at times. Ponies are the same way. I've found Facebook groups where people buy/sell (and frankly the amount of ignorance there surprises me! I mean, people on the internet should be able to search to find pony names, yet there are tons of posts asking "who's this pony??") but the same issues pop up like for the Webkinz...trying to keep posts relevant while juggling tons of initial interest. I finally decided to just work on getting to a couple in person events to see if I have better luck selling there. I can connect with collectors and try to get fair prices (I can't count on top because of limited attendance) and make sure my ponies are finding good homes. I can then gauge better if that is more efficient or if I should just go back to eBay and bend over. So why are things slacking so much here? Are we losing people to the on line platforms? That does make me curious, since these issues are seen by so many people.

I'm distracted with trying to get my collection ready for the MD pony meet in April, which is why the listings here have slowed to non-existent. If anyone has any interest in someone I haven't fully described/priced, just let me know. They are still nearby, just put on the back burner while I sort combs, brushes, picks, ribbons, accessories...all the fun of putting sets back together!

I don't mind selling here, as most people are OK with friend and family payments and I don't get dinged with the "merchant" tag for tax purposes.
That voids all protection for the buyer and is not recommended.
Yes, I know that and I don't demand anyone use that method. I just prefer it (as I said because of taxes...I don't hold my breath the government won't try to push that through again to demand everyone pay taxes when they collect more than $600 with sales) and if anyone is absolutely adverse I understand. Fees are getting out of control, and honestly that is partly why I'm ready to just be done with selling. It's no longer fun and I'm tired of battling the scammers/mentality that everyone is out to screw people.

Thanks, that was about what I figured. It will depend on how much time I can really pull things together, as well as luck finding the things that are missing! I know I have everything, it's just the "where" piece that is eluding me. I did look at possibly going to Xenia last year, but decided I didn't have enough time to try to get things ready. I have my basic pony stuff for sale, like my G3s and some random G1 ponies and accessories, so that is ready to just grab and go. With my personal collection, there is just so much to organize. I don't mind selling here, as most people are OK with friend and family payments and I don't get dinged with the "merchant" tag for tax purposes. I do want them to go to people that will appreciate and love them, as I've had them for 40 odd years. I will focus on MD and see how much I can get done, then gauge from there if I can swing another show this year or try to sell here and maybe pick up another next year. I'm not in any rush, although I did think about the "just sell for $$$ and be done" as an option. I think I do want the control of seeing where they go, and it's not just about the money. If they are left for my kids...it would be just about the money. Of course, there will be a few favorites that will stick around a while longer...

After many years of debate, I think I have finally gotten to the point of finding new homes for my collection. Most are from my childhood and yes, I'm a child of the MLP era! I remember buying them in stores and getting them as gifts for birthdays and holidays. I took VERY GOOD care of my ponies and most, with only a couple exceptions, are in fantastic condition. This decision comes from the fact they have been packed away in totes for years, literally! I love them, but I want them to be appreciated, and I know my kids would have no interest and I don't want them to just be dumped at Goodwill when I'm gone. What I need input about is this...while I kept everything, stickers, backcards, combs, brushes, ribbons, etc...they aren't necessarily all together. I did keep a list of what baby pony items came with which pony, so I could match the exact ring toy/xylophone/other to the right pony (I just have to find the lists!), so I know I can put the full sets back together. The only exceptions to that would be the ponies I added to my childhood collection, and the accessories for them. That being said (yes, I was that anal retentive as a young person!), is it better to try to put all the sets together, or just sell things as I find them but with the tag of "this goes to xxxx pony?" Also, I am planning to got to the MD meet in April, as I want to sell as much off recorded paypal services as possible. I do have playsets, including Paradise Estate and the UK Kitchen and Schoolhouse, although I'm still going through to see if there is anything I really do want to keep for me. I can't possibly take everything, though. What is going to be best to try to take for in person, vs what is fine with on line? Depending on how much time I have to devote, I'll do what I can for getting items ready for sale...I have moved a couple times, so I need to find where things ended up. It will just be helpful to have an idea of where my energy can be best spent prior to the end of April.

I haven't had luck finding my sets yet. They weren't where I thought they were, so I'll keep looking. I think they were just the prepackaged sets, so similar to ones for Christmas, etc.

So I had to look up that playset and all I can say is WTH?? That is so weird looking and I'm sorry, but there is something demented about dissecting a pony to play inside of it! $100 is way too much, so we'll see how that goes. The playset itself is a cute idea...it's just the packaging idea.
