Funko Vinyl Collectibles Thread II (Blue Flu Discord)

My fiance called one of our local Hot Topic's yesterday to ask if they had any glitters (specifically Daring Do).  The worker told him to check back with them every other week because they tend to get new shipments of the figures in that time frame.  I'm not sure if this is true for all of them, but I figured I'd share that info.  I know the newest wave of figures tends to sell out quickly at the stores around here, which is probably why they are ordering them so frequently.

Just got the word he will not have a glitter variant, makes sense since he is a variant himself! If we were to get one last variant I would want a stone one.

Ok...I my subtle hints are not working and I did not want to post this in a live thread...but

...We are not having multiple threads on the same thing bouncing back and forward here. We either have 1 thread where we all talk about Funko or we allow multiple threads in the Corral about new finds.

Lets make this a community decision - if you go for the former everything will be merged into this thread; if you for the latter this is the last big Funko spam thread from now on its individual threads for new announcements. Majority vote will rule.

If it was my vote...I like separate threads. New announcements get lost in general spam threads and more people can join in without having their opinions drowned by so many posts. And this one worked when Funko was a smaller entity - there are now more and more announcements and waves it may be too much to have it all in one place. Plus you were not the only one who posted a new thread on the topic - I actually merged another one in to yours. And there are other single Funko threads recently posted by members; the trend for starting new ones is what has me asking this question.

However I think this is one that everyone should have a weigh in on rather than just locking this one at 100 pages and saying "single threads from now on".

I'm torn I think either way would be fine, the problem with these big threads is posts get lost very fast, and its hard to keep track of all the news sometimes, although it is nice to have it all in one place if the original post is being updated with the latest news like (Blue Flu Discord & Metallic Rainbow Dash) I don't really know where my vote goes..

Maybe we could have

- A thread for the core line of vinyl figures
- A thread for variants/exclusives
- A thread for POP! figures
- A thread for the Mystery Minis?

Maybe that would corral the discussion without mashing it too together too tightly?

I think that might just get a little too confusing, plus there will be discussion crossing each other a lot. I'm starting to think new threads for every new release/news.

Yeah, new threads for each new find is okay with me. Now that I think about it, that'll make it easier for more people to see the newest info.

I really like having a big single Funko thread because it really helps me figure out when the glitter variants might be coming to my hometown. It would be harder to gauge it if I had to dig for individual brag threads.

I prefer separate threads as well - things tend to get lost in bigger threads like this.

Right further to this thread and a few pms we are going to go with individual threads. DO NOT NOW SPAM THE CORRAL WITH FUNKO Because I will use moderator privileges and go back to one single thread if it starts to take over. Remember the Corral is for all generations and all releases. We dont need daily Funko updates...unless its a new item every day

I am going to lock this one up as we are actually now discussing the same release here that we have in other threads.
