Oh my goodness, I love this fakie! She reminds me of Cherries Jubilee! Do you know anything about her? (Like where did she come from, when was she made, who made her, etc?)

yes, she was made by a german company called Simba (they produce the toyline "Fillies" today for example). This type of pony is called Magic pony or, in Germany, Traumlandpony.

Great timing! I'm just in the process of getting out all my fakies from childhood and giving them some TLC. Lol!
I'm little upset though, most of them haven't held up too well. I think they'll be fine with some fixing up, it's just sad to see my childhood play buddies not doing so well.
My favourite one is a blue unipeg/ allicorn. Thankfully, she's still looking pretty good for her age.
Sorry, I don't have any pictures of her at the moment.

i have a sitting down (Seashell pose) fakie that looks like the Traumland fakie ,... but she has Whizzer's symbols. Does anyone know if Simba made sitting fakies? Shes waiting for a re-hair....

yep, those girls are simba. The sitting one has original hair the colour of her symbols and eyeshadow.

I just picked up that same grey and pink "Snuzzle" Remco today. She's from 1982. Unfortunately I'm moving soon so I have to pack mine up. I only have old pictures. Here's my fakie collection from a while back.

Oooh Teddy, I remember the thread about those gorgeous fakies. So much love! They are beautiful.

GothMummy, there was actually a thread about those Simba fakies a while ago. Apparently, they had pirated (or at least imitated) actual Hasbro molds, but they just stuck their own Traumland heads on the bodies! They made several with the colors and symbols of actual MLP too, like Bubbles and I think Tootsie too. There were a couple of Cotton Candy ones that popped up on Etsy a while back, but I decided that they were a little more than what I was willing to pay for fakies. Such a shame too. I really liked them!

Crumpet, I was hoping you'd see this thread. I love your fakie army! I'd never thought of the Remco as Snuzzle-like before, but now I can't shake the comparison. Cool!
