Not sure how long it will be until we can access the old thread so here's a new one!

Question - is it expected to get Nirvanas or MOC items? I would struggle on the budget to get either for my partner and if I did then I wouldn't be able to get much else!

Here are the dates:

Sign-ups until: December 10th, 2011
 Get your partner: December 25th, 2011
 Start Shopping:  Immediately^^
 Ship date for everyone: April 1st, 2012

I dbout you would be expected to get nirvanas for your partner, unless you requested the same in your own wishlist so it was an equal trade or something.

I love seeing pony armies, I am sure this swap would be great once the brags start rolling in, I am not even in it but can't wait to see piccies :D

You should ask a general question to all swap participants like "Would you prefer multiple items or just one amazing one?"...unless the swap has a rule that says you are supposed to buy multiple items anyway. Then hopefully your partner will respond and you ll know what they prefer.

You arent expected to buy MOC or Nirvana unless that is what your partner specifically asks for/prefers, or unless its in the swap rules (which it isnt for this one ;) )

I know that in the past people have chosen to buy one MOC or nirvana pony rather than several "normal" ponies. But then again there are some ponies who have not so expensive nirvana variants, like cheaper italians, etc.  Depends what your partner likes.

Personally, I would be fine with that, but don't expect it to happen since MOC of my pony is way over budget. I know just one Barnacle with accesories would put my partner at the swap limit, so I'm content with a small box ^_^

I know I will NOT be buying just one pricey item for my partner - I want to send them lots of ponies! In fact, I already HAVE lots of ponies. My last one is waiting to be picked up from the post office. And I have to STOP BUYING PONIES. You guys have no idea how over budget I am, even with getting some really good deals!

I have several ponies on my watch list, however some of them aren't in as nice of a condition as I want. Good thing we have lots of time for shopping!

Personally, I'd be thrilled with either one MOC (not likely as even one would be over the swap amount) or a bunch of ponies. :)

Since I am just starting out with my army, I would prefer several ponies, but I would definitely love to get a MOC one day! I saw a pony in the Nirvana forum that I was tempted to inquire about, but thought, no, I can't buy ponies for myself now!


I think I have several on their way to me, and am still waiting to hear back from someone I pmd about a week ago  :huh:

well since my army pony is kind of pricey anyways, and you could probably get a nirvana version of her baby for about what you'd pay for a hong kong version of the adult, I expect to get whatever my partner can find :P moc is most likely out of the question, and there's only one nirvana and she pops up now and again... so I'd be happy with anything :)

I'm a bit purturbed with evilbay atm... I found some auctions that I was REALLY excited about but  all of a sudden they   :glitter:   disappeared.  I HATE it when people remove auctions like that.  Grrrr.  Well, I do have 3 ponies for my partner already.
