Off Topic / Re: Anyone seen the new Jem & The Holograms movie trailer?
« on: September 12, 2015, 11:19:16 AM »
I almost cried when the first trailer came out. I'm not a hard core fan but that trailer HURT my 80's child.

The second one is slightly better, but not much. I'm still saving my money for the next Marvel Superhero movie. :)

Ebay is being absolutely no help. :)  Any suggestions on price? I seem to see the blank one more than this one. Mine is still complete in sealed bag she came in. Thanks!

Here's her wiki link if anyone is curious: http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Pony_Project_TAF

I have NEVER had this issue before, especially with tracked items to my office.

My co-worker ordered something, to be delivered to our office. They attempted delivery on Saturday when we were closed (duh). They "apparently" delivered it today at 9:12 a.m.  I have USPS tracing the package.

Meanwhile, I ordered something a few days ago (completely unrelated to my coworker), and it was supposed to be delivered today. It was "delivered", at 9:12 a.m. as well.  No package got to me today.  This was fairly expensive, so I'm sitting over here trying not to freak out, that it's just sitting in our mail room for tomorrow morning.

Does this seem suspicious that BOTH packages were apparently delivered at the exact same time and DIDN'T show? I KNOW I gave my correct address, and I reconfirmed the address on my coworker's package. Both were correct.

I considered it a safer alternative to leave an expensive package outside on my home doorstep. In fact, I mailed a bunch of stuff to myself that I bought while I was on vacation a few weeks ago. No issues then.  Eesh!  Hopefully I'll have a better update tomorrow. I'm off to bite my nails, in the meantime.

Trader & Shipping Support / USPS has messed up...
« on: June 04, 2015, 07:30:54 PM »
I just need to rant. I sold a ton of ponies and other things on ebay this past week. Got all of them shipped out, gave out tracking numbers as needed, thought great, I can go on vacation with no worries!

One of the more expensive ones was supposed to be on its way to Miami, Florida, and it should have been there by now.  My buyer just notified me that it is currently in transit to CALIFORNIA.

I had another package going to this exact place in California, that I shipped the same night, but it had its own tracking number, so I'm not sure how USPS thinks that both of them are going to California when I KNOW, I KNOW that I put Miami, Florida on the correct package, and California on the other one - my dad watched me do it! I shipped them after the usps closed, using the postage machine, so they picked them up from the drop box the next day. I can only assume someone at USPS was not paying attention.

So now I spend tomorrow franctically on the phone trying to hunt down this package. I leave tomorrow night for vacation. Thank god I'll have internet...

I don't think I have any active sales posts (last one was updated in December! ), but nonetheless, I wanted to let you know I'm going on vacation starting tomorrow through June 19th. See you later, alligators! :)

The Dollhouse / Ebay: MIB/NRFB Pullip Veritas, 12 hours left
« on: May 23, 2015, 07:35:55 AM »
It has been an insanely crazy week here, so I haven't been online much, hence the last minute post. If you were ever interested in owning Veritas, this is your chance.

She is gorgeous, but as I already own one, I don't have room for a twin. C'est la vie!

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: People That Don't Leave Feedback!
« on: May 04, 2015, 01:11:12 PM »
I'm out of the house 60 hours out of the week because of work and commuting.  I have very little time during the week to do much of anything for myself, and the weekend is spent running errands or doing personal things.

While I am sad when I don't receive feedback, I don't get nasty about it. I've been on the receiving end of pushy, harassing emails that demand I give a person feedback so they can "continue to give exceptional service". You can continue to give great service without my feedback!

Keep a record in a little notebook of every transaction you do, especially if you don't have a lot of feedback. That way, if you need a reference, you can tell future potential sellers or buyers who you've done business with - this especially works well on the Arena or the TP.

That's what it's looking like to me Galactica - I hate to just give them away, but I don't want them. Urgh. Thanks.

Starshine was my first adult pony. Year 2 all the way, baby!!

Didn't see anything in the price checks archive, so I'm appealing to the masses. :)

I'm seeing some wild prices on ebay currently - although the sold section looks like she settles in around the $40-50 mark? What say you?

The Dollhouse / Heritage Mint Collection Dolls
« on: March 29, 2015, 11:01:35 AM »
I'm cleaning out some stuff, and I was gifted several porcelein dolls back when I was a kid. Their faces and appendages are made of porcelein.  I have at least four or five of them. Two of them I know for sure are Heritage Mint Collection dolls, I'm looking to see what the rest are.  I don't collect these kinds of dolls at all. All of these have been in storage, wrapped up in either plastic or bubble wrap.

For the Heritage Ones, I can't find any information on them, not even a wiki article. I know they came with names at least! Anyone have any ideas on pricing as well?  They don't seem to do well on Ebay, so I'm not sure if that's a good gauge or not.
