Hey there, since the advent of G4, something I have been wondering about for pony collectors and fans is; how do you regard Pony friends, who are very close to the line of being ponies? Creatures like the zebras, kirin, Changelings, saddle Arabians, etc.? I know they aren't technically ponies, but would they count for most people being under the pony banner, given that sea ponies are extended that courtesy. Such as, if they were released as brushables, would they fall under the banner of ponies for most collectors, or pony pals?
Just something I was curious about...

A question for MLP collectors; with the G1 vinyl toys being made by Loyal Subjects, it seems retro MLP for collectors might be making a comeback. Over at the MOTU toyline from Mattel, super7 is producing a line of retro MOTU figures, along with an animated 11-min special that was released at comic-con. What I would like to ask is, would you guys like it if a third party company licensed G1 MLP from Hasbro, and made a brushible toy line, and possibly animation/comics directed at collectors? With no connection to, or mention of, FiM? Hasbro is currently doing this with Machinima making a G1 transformers animated series, and I was thinking it could be done with MLP. And since Hasbro clearly isn't interested, maybe someone else would step in, and license retro MLP? What do the rest of you think?

Hey, question for the older fans; Was there ever a map released of G1 Ponyland, released with the toys or other merchandise, or did anyone ever make one? No, I don't mean Equestria, or a world connected with Equestria, I'm talking Ponyland from G1. I've looked everywhere on a lot of the old sites still around the net, and I can't find anything! Any help would be appriciated!

(Wasn't sure which board this would go, so Sourdough stomper suggested I post it here) Hello, Everyone! I'm looking for My Little Pony fans who would love to participate in a My Little Pony audio drama. A friend of mine is producing an audio adaptation of My Little Pony G1 story I wrote called 'The Magnificent Six', and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in participating. The story is set in G1 ponyland of the cartoons, with some G4 influence and characters. We still have some open main roles. (Posey, Glory, and the three witches), and we'll soon be casting the supporting roles. Okay, I was looking at some G3 cartoons and books again, and was looking over some things in regards to the G3 pony, Kimono(especially the animated special 'a very charming birthday'). I had some random questions about this mysterious G3 mare; 1.) "The wisest Pony in the land" Okay, so Kimono's thing is being the only sane pony in G3 Ponyville, and she lives outside of town because she can't stand her crazy friends' antics? Was there ever anything on her ever feeling lonely being the only earth pony who isn't nuts? 2.) Her mysterious power with the wind; it seems she can control the wind somewhat, and gets her knowledge from listening to the wind. does she ever use this power anywhere else? Does she ever advise the other ponies anywhere else? 3). She lives in a cave... are there any diagrams/pictures of Kimono's Gazebo and cave out there- what it looks like, what's inside, etc.? I could've swore I saw something like that somewhere. Also, anything else you know about Kimono's character would be awesome. Thanks in advance, everyone!

Okay, I had a question about these twoin the cartoon; do we have any indication they are anything but storybook characters? They interact with Ponyville ponies and Breezies like Zipzee that we know are real, But Pinkie, Minty,and Rainbow Dash don't seem to act like they've ever heard of them. could they be ponies from an earlier generation of ponies? (I mean generation in the universe of the show, not mlp toy generation) Just something I was puzzling over.
Oh, and one other question; Who the heck is that announcer/MC pony that hosts the Princess Prominade, and the Ladybug Jamboree?

Hello again, everyone! Now, for those that know about the different pony generations, I pose a question on personalities here. Everybody knows about Fluttershy, G4's kind, timid, and non assertive animal caregiver, whom is collapses in terror when a leaf lads on her back. And many of you know about Sweet Stuff, G1's over nice twinkle-eyed pony, who gets pushed around by every thing, and never raises her voice above a gentle whisper. Now, while it is obvious both of these mares element of Kindness material, I obverse the two ponies, and consider some of the dirrences between them.
For example, while in Fluttershy we see a great deal of Timidness and fear from the beginning, we do see her grow more assertive and brave over time (Even taking it too far in that iron will fiasco)we learned she could change and grow as a pony, and stand up to the things that frightened her. Yet with Sweet Stuff we learned that being that kind and gentle pony was an inherit part of her nature that could never be changed- which is why she never even yelled at that mean Squirrel who bullied her. But we also learned that Sweet Stuff could maore easily stand up for herself, like when she realized the seaponies were using her as a goal post in thier game of underwater croquet.
So in the end, it's two diffrent prespectives. While Fluttershy's message was be more assertive and stand up for yourself, Sweet Stuff's message was you don't have to change who you are, and that's okay. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you had any other thoughts on this?
