Trading 2 airbrush Italians for common ponies

Since no one wanted to buy these, I'm offering them for trade! I'm basically looking for moderate-to-good condition common China/HK ponies for one or two of these ponies. Just let me know which extra ponies you have! I'm also interested in accessories, comics, leaflets, Petite ponies (not buildings) and anything from the G1 line.

Overall very nice condition. Almost looks like a dwarf pose variation but not quite. Airbrush eyes.

Eyes: Left one excellent. Right one has wear to the lower eyelashes and a wear spot in the black part in the middle of the eye.
Symbols: Left, 11 clovers, minor wear. Right, 11 clovers, minor wear.
Mane: Dry at the ends, uncut.
Tail: Dry at the end, uncut.
Body: Slight yellowing at hoof-edges and some very minor Italian quality issues. Very good with no marks.

Overall very nice condition. Dwarf pose variation with airbrush eyes.

Eyes: Left one excellent with a small smear on the highlight. Right one has wear to the eyelashes and upper lining. Both still good. Airbrush eyes as mentioned.
Symbols: Left side, 11 hearts, very minor wear. Right side, 12 hearts, one heart has a bit more wear on one edge, overall very good symbols.
Mane: Missing about 12 plugs on the back of the neck (0,5 cm of hair). Otherwise good hair for an italian, not very dry and with a nice curl. Uncut.
Tail: No tailrust. Somewhat dry at the end, but still good and uncut.
Body: A bit worn at hoof-edges, eartips and so on. No major flaws like fading/marks. Dwarf pose variation.

Dwarf Italians are a bit smaller than the other Italians. (Italians in general are also smaller than their HK/China counterparts, but dwarf ponies are extra small.) Here's a thread I found on the old Arena. Some of the comparison pictures aren't that good since it's HK ponies with Italian ponies, but check out princessluna11706's post with the two Italy Minty ponies side by side, with the dwarf on the right.

There are a few characteristic's I've noticed in common with the dwarf ponies, like that their feet stand close, and the arch between the legs is high and narrow. Their heads are low, with a strong curve from the chest to front legs when seen from the side. And the obvious one, they're smaller than the others. It's not always a huge difference, like between Minty and Peachy here (if you compare Minty to a "hunchback" mold Italian, she seems very small too).

I think that some people collect exclusively the dwarf Italians because they're small and cute. I have a few myself - Peachy, Lemon Drop, Minty and Butterscotch. I hope that helped!

And zora, just remember to compare the dwarf candidates to normal pose Italians, not eg. the hunchbacks, which are usually quite big looking compared to any others. Hunchbacks usually have their feet far apart, but I'm not sure if there are other ways to tell them apart from the other pose variations.

My best hint to recognizing a dwarf pony is to look at two different mold ponies from the side and look for the dwarf properties I mentioned earlier. I feel that it's easiest to spot them when seen directly from the side.

Good luck with your sales!  Wow, I just read that thread, brings back memories!  I almost thought that Minty was a double too, until I checked her feet and saw that the stamps were different..then I compared them.  I was so happy!  I didn't realize I had forgotten to go back to that thread too ;  My ladies are packed away now...

So the ponies are more or less on hold, I just don't know to whom yet, as I haven't read all the messages, hehe.
